Really men, is this necessary? Here we have yet another compassionate, understanding member of the fapbase, and this excessive drama has been spawned from the misconstrued image of her original posting intention.

Sirs and madams, if I may direct you to the point of this rant, it's that you are all missing the point of the reputation system. Reputation, on its own, is merely a number. Reputation is handed out as a means of distinguishing between members who are generally helpful and pleasant and members who are crude and obnoxious. Sure, this system is flawed in the sense that anyone with a somewhat-distinct title seems to get reputation points practically served to them on a silver platter. And no, this isn't aimed at you, Rukia. I've noticed that people with the title of FAKKU Subber/Uploader tend to have mass quantities of reputation, or at least mass by the standard reputation average. Now, sure, I understand that this is because said people work hard to bring us material for which to enjoy.

But the reputation system means a bit more than just that. It's not just for people who give you things. Anyone who's helped you in any way at all may be deserving of reputation. And I will admit, the reputation system is flawed. People like me, who do nothing to really help anyone, somehow gather reputation on them.

My main point? Reputation is just a number. She wasn't complaining that her number decreased, she was apologizing for whatever inappropriate actions she may or may not have performed that resulted in said decrease. Honestly people, for a board where the members are supposedly all 18+ in age, you guys take things like children sometimes.

And yes, I am prepared for the mass drop of reputation that will result from this post. That's life.
