When I refer to "Jews", I refer to the classic white middle class Israeli heritage Jew. I saw "Jew" as a race very commonly, as those are the only Jews I've seen where I live, and every year there are more of them.
If it's a Jew of another race, we merely call them "white/redneck/black/brown/asian jew". Simple.
