I recently read a article that i thought Fakku might appreciate, relating to society's expectations of male sexuality. I've become hesitant to participate ind discussions of misandry/misogny online, mainly because they almost always turn angry. However, this particular article i feel is phrased in a way that imo doesn't shame either gender. Here's the link
Why do we demonize men who are honest about their sexual needs
In case you don't feel like reading the entire thing, the basic idea is that men are expected to be the initiator in sexual matters, while at the same time running a risk of being labeled a creep for doing that very thing. In the same way women have to be extremely careful in regards to their sexuality to avoid the "slut" label, men have to be extremely careful about theirs to avoid getting the "creep" label.
I found myself agreeing with basically everything in the article, but i would be interest to know what my fellow fakkuzza think about this.
Personally, as a guy who feels rather bad at the whole "flirting" thing it would be nice to not have to be the initiator all the time.

>People seriously getting annoyed over the word faggot
I think its the context more than the word itself. This is one of the few times "faggot" has been used as in a homophobic way rather than the "you're dumb" kind, which i think is pissed people off

In general Freak sees things...differently than the rest of us. You get used to it after a while
And i found it kind of repulsive
Im not one to play the race card often, but this just seems like a bunch of of white people paying to watch the poor blacks.

The use of "codependent" as those links use it, is in my opinion incorrect: Those type of people aren't interested in the relationship, as much as they are wallowing in their own self pity. It's a negative expression of ego, rather than repression of ego. It's not a merger of wills per say, but more akin to a parasitical relationship.
When codependent is used to describe a relationship most people are going to assume you are referring to its clinical definition like kittie was rather than your definition of it.
To me, the true essence of love is the ability to submerge egos, to share the same interests and to see the other side. As Human Beings, we're naturally egotistic and there's nothing wrong with that. Those who act in a criminal manner for example, have never merged their egos with another person.
To fall in love is to merge two egos into one whole person.

What do you call couples that commit crime together?

I could care less of what kind of conversations you've had with your Therapist(though I heavily doubt you made mention of this particular conversation) And even if you had, your position is so bias'd I've no doubt you misconstrued(either purposefully or unintentionally) exactly what I've said.Worse yet, I cannot defend my statements to your therapist.
I also happen to notice you've yet to actually answer the questions I asked, even though they're relatively easy questions. I'll take this to mean(as well as your remarks about your therapist) that you don't have an answer.
Lustful, when you say codependence what exactly do you mean?I don't think anyone is saying a person shouldn't put any stake in their relationship. But there is a point where a person can become unhealthily attached to another person.
And just so you don't accuse me of being biased, i found two separate articles supporting that statement here and here
