Lets put it this way, for the most part im a lurker so I don't care about how im "viewed" by the masses. It is moreso you acted high and mighty calling someone undeserving. If in the process both of us have our opinions thought less of due to us seeming dually immature, then the act would mean that your previous statement calling him "undeserving" means less coming from the mouth of a person i share the title of immature kid with than the respect you may previously have held...is the logic good? not really, but it is sound.
