Guns are pretty ridiculous. We couldn't kill each other fast enough with crossbows and spears so now we mass produce a class of weapon that can potentially end dozens of lives in a matter of seconds. What a fucking waste. To think that while everything else in human enterprise advanced in terms of technology, but our weapons didn't, isn't realistic.

Say what you want, but guns don't solve problems. They accelerate the resolution. The problem of (for example) Nazi Germany was in part solved thanks to superior military power of the Allied forces, not because of peaceful protest.

But no matter how much we protest these guns, nothing will change. There are far too many people who will simply refuse any attempt to disarm them. Even if some godlike being set foot into our world and did use the favor of dismantling every firearm on the planet, the first thing these people would do is try to acquire a new gun. It's a sad and useless effort to try and persuade them. Then don't waste your efforts (at least not all of them) for a gun free nation or a gun free world, but support and fight for more gun legislation, more training, more backround checks, so on and so fort.

And it doesn't stop with guns. We have explosives, chemical weapons, missiles, and even nukes for that city you just NEED to wipe off the map. The arms race is ludicrous. None of these things benefit the people, any people. Not only that they have benefited the people (i don't know which people you are talking about), but they still do benefit the people. I don't support nations necessarily having explosives, missiles or nukes (i certainly don't support chemical weapons for any purpose, it should be for any nation illegal to have), but in todays nuclear world, it does benefit nations to have them as a deterrent.
Again, that doesn't mean i support nations having nukes, i wish we lived in nuke free world. But i do understand that USA having nukes and Russia having nukes and North-Korea having nukes makes a big difference how other nations conduct themselves against these countries. It makes it far less likely for another nations to attack these nuclear powers precisely because of the nukes. And that, in it self, is a benefit to the people.
(The situation of North-Korea is different from USA for example, because i think NK is a hostage crisis, but i think you get my point.)

Maybe this is just a pipe dream but what we really need is a shields race. If we could protect lives more efficiently than we can end them, we would make those weapons meaningless. We'd have to resolve our conflicts in ways that don't involve putting a bullet in the other guy's brain. What a horrible world that would be.We don't need a shields race, what we need is a global society so that all nations to some extent are dependent on other nations, meaning it would make conflict less likely. I am pretty sure there won't be a conflict between two EU countries during my life time or during the life time of the next generation, because of this co-dependency and co-operation, and this build up of almost becoming a single nation of different states. I mean the very purpose of EU was to prevent another World War from happening.

That's what hentai should be. FreeWhat a selfish thing to say, the work somebody else does should be made available free of charge for you, because of reasons. Should all music, tv shows and films be free too for everybody, because you can pirate them from the internet anyway?
Have you thought about that maybe the work you do (even though you sound like a teenager who hasn't done any work) should be made free of charge for the company you work for?

unless you want to pay for the top-notch premium stuff. So it is ok to charge a fee for the "top-notch" stuff (what ever that means) but if it goes below that, it should be free?

But now you guys are going ahead and doing all this? I'm sad. No matter what you may say, this feels like a money making deal rather than a customer satisfaction deal.If majority of your customers are based on the service of providing pirated material for free, and you as company decide to go from a pirated service to a legitimate service, yeah sure the customer satisfaction may have not been the first priority, but in a capitalistic society, every deal we do is a money making deal apart from charity (or you just don't know how to make money).
(This is just how i feel about it)
This deal is more about what is right morally and ethically, it is not about making money. Jacob (as far as i know) wants to do the right thing for the people who actually freaking make hentai, not by what is ONLY right for the consumer. But if you people are too blind or naive or young to understand that benefiting the original content producer is what benefits everybody from the producer to the consumer, then i suggest you try to create something of your own and try to make a living from it.

Fakku should remain mostly free, with all these "unlicensed artists and content". Because that's what makes up the majority of Fakku, and what makes most users happy. I feel if the majority of decent content becomes paid for, you will lose a massive amount of users. But that's just my thoughts, and I think a good amount of people share those thoughts, so please take into consideration the satisfaction of your users.Yes, we should all support the majority even when the majority is in the wrong, am i right? Guys?
I bet Jacob has thought about a lot of the majority who just want to fap to hentai and don't want to pay for it, but if he has decided to take Fakku! into a direction that he feels is the right way even if it goes against the cries of the majority, then you just gotta live with it.

Todays lunch at work wasn't so good, or not at least as good as it has been for couple of weeks. Bunch of different sausages mixed in with vegetables and then some random sauce on it, and rice. Wasn't good.
Ninja Assassin - 1½ / 5
Not only wasn't it worth the money, it wasn't worth the time either if it was free. Acting was bad, i personally hate all those scenes that are specifically made for the 3D effect and the story was also really bad. When you make movies that fall into the category of "overly unrealistic", it needs to be 'self-aware' to work and this wasn't. You might get a laugh if you watch it high and/or drunk.

Greece is playing a game of chicken with EU, IMF and who ever gave them money. They hope they blink before they are forced to blink, or maybe they are serious about trying to live on their own, which more than likely makes a bad situation even worse.
I remember Robot Wars, was awesome to watch as a kid. Battlebots looks pretty good too, and now that technology is improved and (perhaps) cheaper, could be some awesome fights.
