Take some peeled boiled beets (boil them until they become very soft), grate them, add mayo, garlic and some crushed fried walnuts. mix that shit together, spread some on toast and enjoy!
Beet juice is pretty tasty too. In fact, there are many great recipes that are healthy and great tasting.
Turnips on the other hand are pretty bad.
