Lying to the cops about having weed once.

My weapon would be a man who does all the killing for me. Because zombies are fucking scary.

Depends on the sort of zombie.

Are we assuming that enough physical trauma can stop them, or do we need to heads off? What senses do they have? Can they see? Hear? Smell? Feel?

And how does one get infected? A bite or scratch? If you get splattered by their blood, is that enough?


The first thing to do is secure a safe spot where you can rest and have a good vantge point/points for observation, with at least three venues of escape.



If we presume that they can't climb- you get a building with at least three stories.

Destroy the stairs on the ground level.


With that, they shouldn't be able to get up to where you are, and you have the entire rest of the building as a safehouse.



As such, the absolute essential things are:

-A good length of strong rope. At least 50 feet. You can use this to clamber up/down the side of the building for regular supply runs.

-Power tools and/or explosives to make quick work of the stairs. It'll make a helluva lot of noise- but you want that point of access closed off fast. The bonus is that you can use them as makeshift weapons afterwards (lots of parts to disassemble for those who are mechanically apt).

-If you can't destroy the stairs, oil slick the entire first floor and the stairwell. Grab ball bearings and/or marbles and chuck 'em about. That will slow them down and- worst comes to worse- you just need a single match.

-Baseball bat. In the early going- until you can figure out what kills them and get better weapons, you just need to play keep away. A baseball bat packs punch and is light and easy to handle. The round surface is also handy (a crowbar risks to get stuck).

-Nets. Again, you don't need to kill them if you can slow 'em down. Lacking brains to figure that untangling themselves would be a good idea, it could hold them for quite some while.
