Actually, I just listened to that and I need to make a correction. This one was actually recorded with the help of my girlfriend after about one month of study. As you can see from the 'Date Modified', the file was recorded on March 2007, which is obviously only about halfway into Spring semester. The Piano Jury was right before the finals, which is around May-ish. You can tell I'm not very familiar with it yet with the mistakes I made. Also, the song is supposed to be a little faster.

Anyway, it's true that it's hard to play anything well. What I meant was, however, that certain instruments are much, much harder to become good at than others. For example, violin and piano are much, much more difficult to become good at than guitar or the drums. Comparing the recorder to something like the piano is like comparing basic arithmetic to calculus.

But as a musician, it's just something we have to live with. And there's nothing quite like jamming in a band. It's one of the most wonderful things in life.

I also play the guitar, keyboard, and drums. Of course, I'm not counting really easy stuff that anyone can just pick up and get good at in no time, like xylophone/recorder etc.

Wow KPT. I'm seriously impressed. I did not think that removing such ridiculously big white bars was even possible. An excellent job.

Now we just need pages 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20 (well, not really 'just', but whatever). If you did a page that KPT submitted already, you can just submit it anyway and I'll use the better one, but we mainly need the remaining pages to be cleaned.

Seriously guys. If you guys know Japanese a little and want to get better, translating stuff is a good way to do it. There's nothing like using the language to improve it. I'll be there to help you out should you encounter any difficulties.

And I'm not expecting you to translate a doujin in a day (like I do). You can take weeks to do it, we don't really mind. Plus, I proofread every project right before it's released anyway, so if there are any mistakes I can correct them.

I hope this will encourage people to start contributing to FAKKU in a way no one else can. And oh, actually, while I'm at it, we kinda need editors too. FAKKU admins have outside lives after all, so we can't spend 24/7 looking after you pervs. =P

@walkman: Actually, Chinese is a much more difficult language to master than Japanese. At least, if you can't remember how to write a particular kanji, you can just spell it out with hiragana. In Chinese, forget how to write a particular character, and you die, pretty much. And at least Japanese has grammar elements. In Chinese, especially at a higher-level, there really isn't any grammar, and the order of characters can actually imply different meanings. In short, if Chinese isn't your first language, you can forget about mastering it to great heights. In fact, I found Japanese to be relatively easy to learn; I learned the entire set of hiragana over a single weekend (katakana took slightly longer to learn). Kanji is what trips people up, and where does it come from? Yes, Chinese. And, as you demonstrated, each Chinese dialect is, pretty much, its own language. If you ask me, that's something far more difficult to learn than two sets of kana symbols.

Now now, don't generalise. You guys know for a fact that us FAKKU admins are handsome men.

And I'll let you guys in on something. Two of us have girlfriends, and the other admin probably could easily get one with his skillz, but can't be @$$ed to. Surprisingly, these same people are running this hentai site you nerds visit. Just goes to show you can like hentai and still have a life.

Thanks for helping others out, although I hope that you're working on them too. Not too sure it'll be of much help here, since the censorship is one of the worst I've ever seen in a doujin.

Just out of interest, is anyone else other than KPT working on these? And there's no need for one person to do them all, just submit each individual page you manage to uncensor to me. How long it takes this doujin to be released depends on how long it takes to get this done, so get to work!

OMG. I'm an avid lover of Chopin's music. In fact, most of my piano repertoire consists of Chopin's works (yes, I play the piano). I have some recordings of my own playing if anyone's interested.

This game looks sick, and with Chopin's music, it's definitely win material. But godammit, why did this game have to be Xbox360 exclusive? *goes off to cry in the corner*

If those spiky speech bubbles or katakana sound effects get in the way, don't be too afraid to erase them altogether if it makes life easier for you. No one really cares about them anyway.
