Great new book, and one i'll definitely pick up - ReDrop is one of my all time favourite artists.

I know doujin aren’t a priority for FAKKU, but I was wondering.
Has Flavor of Duck: Misako been dropped? I know the art style might not be for everyone, but it had a surprisingly good story, and i was really hoping to pick up the sequels.

Out of interest, is this going to be available on other platforms? I’m likely going to buy on site, but knowing what other options there might be would still be helpful..

Brittany has already explained that a book release is more involved than just taking the magazine translation and copying it across to the book. From my understanding they pretty much redo the whole translation, as an artist may end up altering the wording or add new pages between the magazine to book release. On top of that, magazine translations don't bother with any of the SFX, so there is also a need to translate all of the onomatopoeias as well.
A couple of people have raised questions like this in the past, including myself, and the response is roughly what I've outlined above. Overall, there are well over 50+ books at varying degrees of completeness through magazine chapters - some of which were completed years ago, but it's likely most will never get released as a book. Generally, if it's popular, it will eventually get picked up, but don't get your hopes up in thinking FAKKU use completed chapters as an influencing factor when deciding what to work on next. Also before YQII or Brittany weigh-in on this; instead of creating a new topic for suggesting a book like this, you should really be adding this to the pinned suggestion topic.

It's around about 10-14 days after the announcement/pre-order. It depends on how many chapters a book might have, as FAKKU releases two per day, and the download link is only put up after all chapters are available.

I recently started buying books from book depository myself. Largely, I've been storing everything in a vinyl disc case... which is now full of FAKKU book and artist boxes. Honestly, I want to find something else to start storing my book in, but I'm working with limited space; realistically only have space left on top of a bookcase, so the contain would need to be the right dimensions to fit.
At one point I was considering some of the Iseto Bunko containers from Japan but the shipping is kinda of high.

I remebered back there were rumors saying that some guardians found their child reading such almost-uncensored mangas and brought the issue to the polices' & the court's attention, which later affected the current censoring attitude and the backing process by Eirin.Great, so the rest of society had to suffer because some busybody couldn’t control what they child was reading🤦†♂ï¸
Regardless of the country, you’ll always fine asshats who want to act like they are arbiters of what is acceptable. In the UK you had Mary Whitehouse (the crazy old bat didn’t even watch the movies she protested). In the US you had Tipper Gore (who drew sadomasochistic meanings from the lyrics of songs... said more about her than the songs)
Thanks for that, I’ve updated my original post.

In the case of Core, they were taken to court over lax censorship less than 10 years ago, which I imagine is a major contributing factor as to why they're hesitant to publish their content uncensored, even if it's done overseas and perfectly legal. Thanks for clarifying. I had read into the court case a while back and can totally understand the reluctance of Core from allowing their content to be published internationally. What I didn't understand is why the police felt the need to, well police, the obscenity law more vigorously than they had done prior to that. The law itself is exceptionally vague, and doesn't explicitly state what would be consider obscene. It's also an exceptionally stupid law that is only held up due to the legal precedent it's built up over time.
The only way Japan is going to get over this backward law is by rescinding the law, Yamada Taro is currently the only person I know of who is working toward that goal, or for someone to take it to the courts and win.
YQII would you also mind updating the sticky post to include the hyperlinks to sites, I've listed them below if that helps:

That’s CoreMagazine though, Maidens of Steel was from them, but I’m certain that was more of a one off. I wouldn’t bet on anything else coming from their catalogue.

Thought I would suggest some nice shota x milf action, something which has kinda been lacking in the book releases so far.
Nanao Yukiji - Mom Hunter (Wani)
Nanao Yukiji - Niku Chichi DAYS (Wani)
Jitsuma - Exchange Son (Mujin Comics)
Jitsuma - To Friday's Mothers (Mujin Comics)
Karma Tatsurou - Naimitsu (Wani)
Karma Tatsurou - INMAMA (Wani)
Takatsu - King App (Mujin Comics)
Takatsu - Married Woman A and Son's Friend N (Mujin Comics)
Overall anything from Takatsu, Karma Tatsurou, and Nanao Yukiji would be welcome. Jitsuma might not be to everyone’s tastes though, and I find the artwork to be a bit rougher round the edges.

GOT is a tricky situation, GOT is involved with DMM and DMM does not want uncensored booksThat’s a shame, they have a tonne of great books, which are much more varied than Wani... in my opinion. For as much as I like Wani, there is a certain amount of sameness to its catalogue, which is perhaps not helped by the high recurrence of certain artists who produce a huge quantity of vanilla - which gets kinda boring after a time.
With that in mind, we are planning on releasing a new Black Tights book through GOT this year as an example of maintaining that relationship and we of course hope things can change in the future.
I’ve seen a couple sites that have this on preorder already. It being a non-h artbook makes sense in finding something FAKKU can publish without running into censorship hurdles I suppose, but it isn’t really the same.
Is KTC as difficult to work with as GOT?

Funnily enough, I did a post about this not too long ago. You can see the full details here: JP Publishers
As you can see in the below image though, Wani dwarfs the other JP publishers by a wide WIDE margin, and I think that's unlikely to change. On average, both KTC and GOT get a book at a rate of less than one a year. Crudely speaking, FAKKU releases around 2 books a month/ 24 a year, with the likelihood of at least 15 coming from Wani's catalogue, and that's a lowball estimate - it's likely more, but I'd need to look at the data to confirm.
Perhaps there are more hurdles involved when trying to publish from GOT and KTC, I remember Brittany did a post a while back explaining some of the logistical hurdles around acquiring a book for publication.

Realising this is a super old thread, but is the api still a thing, and mores to the point still available?
I recently just started getting into create web data connectors in tableau, but I'm finding it hard to get a data source to play around with. at the moment I'm trying to figure out how to code an api call to automate through a paginated api... totally have no clue how I would get that to work in tableau!

Recent site statistics state the average Fakku subscriber stays on fakku for 5:26 minutes per day. Meaning the average person comes here for one thing, for a quick nut, nothing more.
Now, this subscription is worth more than either a Netflix or Hulu subscription, and provides much less content.
Previously, fakku members were fan translating work for free and for tips, like the innumerable amount of other translators out there, however they hide all their best works under a separate payment method.
Therefore fakku is giving us their worst work, for 5 minutes a day of your time, for more money than any of its competition. And when i say their worst work i mean it, i need to search for 10+ minutes to find anything worth masturbating to lol. Idk how y'all do it!
This post is straight up retarded!
The average stay duration means nothing other than the capriciousness of human nature - you could literally say the same thing about any other form of printed media. In FAKKU’s case, whether a subscriber stays for 5 minute or 5 hours has little difference when the site isn’t monetised through site traffic. Every subscriber regardless of how long they stay pays the same price, so unless they are losing subs, the point is irrelevant.
Likewise, comparing FAKKU with billion dollar streaming giants like HULU and Netflix, is quite frankly the height of stupidity. Netflix has somewhere around 240 million subscribers, Hulu around 40 million. Whatever you think FAKKU’s subscriber count is, that’s like comparing a pond to the ocean! Do you really think that just because each service uses a subscription model they are the same, can you not see how vastly different they are?

Hey, don't forget what's technically the first book in this series, where PANDRA protagonist Shirley actually showed up for the first time:Spoiler:
If we want the complete series, it should be truly complete.
Fair point. I had considered including it myself, but my memory of the book is quite vague + I kinda felt like we missed the boat on that one, might need to circle round at the end.
More importantly though, I definitely agree that we need to get Neromashin’s tankoubon translated! It’s probably one of my favourite serials and I’m glad it got the book treatment (which I bought). I’d happily buy it again should we ever get an English release.

Also PANDRA II was just announced - what a perfectly time announcement 😆

Shit the metaphorical bed! I had no idea that Jun, the godly Jun released books under KTC and Akaneshinsha I just love his thicc art style + when you add some monster girls into the fray 🤤 I’d deeply like to request any one of these books.
Jun’s catalogue of work:
I’d also like to request as much Fan no Hitori content as possible - literally ever book is pure awesome sauce!

Well, I'm one of those people who has knowingly requested books from unlisted publishers. The way I see it, the list of publishers has grown over time, and the only way that's happened is that Fakku is actively attempting to reach out and make new deals with publishers that weren't originally on the list Generally I’ve avoided doing that myself, as I always thought it was futile, but perhaps that’s not the case. I’d definitely liked to request from Megastore Comics though, as many of my favourite artists seem to work exclusively with them.
Of course, I have no insight on the actual logistics for signing up publishers or how much negotiation and contracting it actually takes to convince a publisher to open up their library to a whole new market, but conceptually it does benefit all parties - the consumer, the original publisher and Fakku themselves.
Even then you still have the author to contend with, I mean copyright laws usually include adaptations/translations as part of the moral rights of the author, so being able to work with a particular publisher is really just the first hurdle.
