Internet should be helpful and full of tutorials; but there's way too many tutorials out there. So, first you need to experiment yourself, try make something and if you stuck on some problem, you can run to internet blah blah blah blah blah....
Just grab one photoshop tutorial book for beginner you can find. They're all basically have same content.
