It is not the era of Naruto anymore, but why until now Naruto is still ranked as #1Are you saying that Naruto is #1, and always has been? That simply is not true. In Japan, One Piece has consistently been higher than Naruto. As for America, Naruto has always been ranked higher, but that's partly because the anime of One Piece got butchered by 4Kids, leading many to believe that the series was horrible.
I like both series, but while I do like One Piece more, I think it's just an opinion sort of thing. You can argue until you're blue in the fact that one is better than the other, but they're two completely different series that take different approaches and do different things. Comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges; yeah, they're both fruit, but they're really fucking different.
I like the humor in One Piece and the very shonen feel. It's unrealistic and exaggerated, but that's part of the fun. Also, One Piece has made me cry many, many times. I don't think Naruto has ever done that to me.
You like mudkip.
Apparently, mudkip likes HIM, Marilyn Manson, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Twiztid.

I'm not sure what to say. I'm very happy with the forums and the site as a whole right now. I guess Jacob could try to make this site more than just porn and the forums, but I'm not sure how he would go about doing that.
A big project would be nice, but I don't know what could be done that most users could help with. There's already a sub and doujin group, and it's not like a lot of users could help out with that. (Even if they could, the groups don't need hundreds of people helping out.) An art contest or calendar would leave out all those who can't draw, and that's quite a lot of people. What else is there? I really don't know.
The site could try to make its own doujin, utilizing some artists and getting ideas for the story from the userbase, but that'd be a lot of work, and for what? There are already a ton of doujins out there. The only plus would be that the doujin could possibly be sold; people could hold in their hands a doujin made by Fakku. But would that be worth all the trouble?
I don't know. I just like the idea of something to do here that isn't jerk off or post on the forum.

Title may be a bit misleading, but I couldn't think of a succinct way to describe this topic.
A friend of mine once told me that she had anxiety problems, especially in public. She would sometimes freak out and just feel really bad and worried. But, she explained, she would never take medication for it (antidepressants or anti-anxiety meds), because she didn't want to "change who she was." To her, taking such pills would basically be saying, "I don't like who I am, and other people don't like me the way I am either." My brother feels similarly, being strongly against any sort of medication for mental health problems (for himself, at least).
Maybe it's because I'm a student of psychology, or maybe it's because I'd be willing to take a pill if it made me not be depressed (and have done so in the past), but I cannot understand this at all. A lot of mental health problems are caused by chemical imbalances and whatnot; the pills try to correct these problems. They don't change who you are - they help you to let your true self be shown. They only change you as much as a cast on your broken leg changes you. You wouldn't let a broken bone be untreated because it's "who you are," would you?
Is there anybody that agrees with my friend and brother? Would you refuse medication, even if it could help rid you of some emotional problems? Do you know anybody that would? What would be some alternatives that you would try?

Not sure what photo file types Fakku supports, but maybe posting what type of extension it is after you saved it from paint would help to see if that's the problem. (jpeg, gif, png, etc.)I think a picture made in Paint is saved as Bitmap (unless you change it while saving it), and I'm pretty sure Fakku doesn't accept Bitmap.
Antw0n, try reopening the picture in Paint, clicking "Save as," and saving it as a different file type. Saving it as a PNG should not change a single thing about it (except make the total file size a lot smaller). Then, try uploading the PNG to the site.
If that doesn't work, then take a screenshot of the page you get when you try (and fail) to upload your picture, or just tell us what it says.
I know exactly what you mean, Gin.
It's not hard to open the Masterlist and hit F3 and search for something, but people just seem to hate to do that. I sometimes find myself replying to a repeat thread, thinking that it's not a repeat, expecting the OP to have checked for a thread on the subject already. (This just happened with that Justice League movie.)
And really, there's no need to have a repeat thread in Entertainment. Any thread about a TV show or movie will be the same - talk about this show/movie.

words I've forgotten or not know at all... Guro and bukkake (did I spell that right?)What other words are there?
Bukkake is cumming on a girl's face, often by many men.
Guro is violent imagery, often mixed with sex. If someone asks if you want to see a guro doujin, say no unless you want to see a man have sex with a little girl while tearing her intestines out of her body.
Yandere is a word that is becoming more and more used that a lot of people are clueless about. I can't remember the whole explanation of it, but it's basically a girl that's crazy.
Tsundere is very common nowadays, but I'm sure there are still loads of people that don't know it.
I know what you mean, but I just have to say . . . hentai is porn!
I enjoy a mix. Sometimes, I want the see animated sex, other times I want real (kind of) sex. I usually turn to hentai when I want stuff that's different, like a cute schoolgirl being raped. Hard to find that sort of thing in live-action videos.

This picture is so screwed up.
One does not simply walk into a big gaping vagina the size of a hallway!

I've seen this on just about every other forum I've been a part of. It's kind of odd to not see it here, now that I think about it. It's usually called "subscribing."
I believe the way it works is, if you see a thread you want to keep track of, there's an option on the page where you can choose to subscribe to the thread. Then, in your profile, there's an option for you to look at all the threads you're subscribed to. I'm guessing there's also an option to receive (or not) messages when a subscribed thread is posted in. If you had that turned off, you wouldn't be notified when the threads gets a response.
I'm all for it, though I don't think I'd use it much. I always clicked the "View Your Posts" button to see if any of the threads I liked had gotten a new post, but I do recall having problems with that. If I saw a thread, I liked, I'd have to post in it to get it to show up, and if I didn't have anything to say, I was fucked.

Yeah, the IRC is the official site chat room, from what I've heard. I'm glad for that. A lot of other sites have an in-site chat feature (on the bottoms or tops of pages, usually) that I despise because they slow down my browser and computer.
Revealing who gave the rep is a bad idea. See other responses for explanations.
The other idea, however, is good. If people could say why they gave reputation, it would help the system out quite a bit. Often, I give people +rep but don't bother to say anything because, well, why bother saying something? If I have nothing else to say, why just post, "I totally agree"? That's pretty much spam, isn't it? (Except in User Uploads, because letting someone know that you enjoy what they uploaded is important.)
A forum I was on a few years ago had a "thumbs up, thumbs down" feature that was the same thing as reputation, and you could add a comment for why you gave them an up or a down. When I got a thumbs up, people often said, "Fucking right!" or whatever, and that made me feel good. When I got a thumbs down, I could see that someone thought I took a joke too far (taught me to not go crazy for the sake of humor), simply didn't agree with me (the guy's a douche that gets way too defensive), or plain didn't like me (his opinion doesn't matter, he just wants to piss me off). I think it really balanced the system out.
However, as waar said, this sort of thing has been discussed a lot. The ideas put forth here aren't even new. But I think they're worth talking about again to show that people still feel they way they do. Just don't expect any changes to be made in the next month or whatever.

I faintly remember when the merger happened. My thoughts at the time were simple: "Why fix something that's not broken?" And though I haven't paid much attention to SquareEnix, it seems that the quality definitely did drop.
Well, the first couple of years of owning a Playstation, if I saw that Squaresoft had made a game, I knew it would be great. I don't feel that way about SquareEnix, that's for sure. They're nothing special anymore.

ashcrimson, if you want to see some of Harmonian's bad posts, just look at his profile: https://www.fakku.net/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=95337
There, you can look through all his forum posts and posts of his that recently got repped.
You can see him being mean and needlessly rude without too much trouble. The rest of his stuff will probably be a pain to go through, since most of his posts are in IB and/or just pictures. But those two posts of his I've linked to are but examples of his behavior and not odd occurrences.

Honestly I took question as - that is what some people claim and let us discuss it if its nonsense or not, and not as a statement made by himYou might be the only person who took it that way.
To me, it seemed like he was stating his personal opinion as fact and refused to say anything to support it. He told people to shut up and didn't say anything constructive. If he had seriously wanted to discuss the idea that men are superior to women, he would have done it in a much more constructive manner. If I wanted to talk about atheism, I wouldn't say, "All atheists are fucking stupid."
I found something interesting. It's a study done to give an idea of average penis length around the world.

(It may not be the most trustworthy thing, but I'd trust it more than a picture that came from God knows where.)
Surprise, surprise - men everywhere don't have 8-inch dicks.

really its whose perspective your looking though. if your someone that has an std you might find this not so amusing. on the other hand if you don't have an std or a pencil up your ass then i would think you may get a chuckle or two out of thisThat's not really a joke about STDs though. It's a joke about how stupid Peter is. The AIDS song Peter and his barbershop group sing, now that's a joke about STDs! Then again, I guess it could be seen as a joke about how horrible Peter is.

I havent seen an offensive post or thread made by him. Can anyone point some examples to warrant this supposed hate? Ive seen some threads in IB that are mindless but it does say that that is allowed.
I'd point you towards the "Men are better than women" thread he made in Serious Discussion, but it got (rightfully) deleted, though it didn't happen until like ten pages of shit. He basically said, "Men are superior to women, the Bible says so, and anyone who says different is wrong." He actually said in Serious Discussion, "Your opinion doesn't matter."
As for Harmonian truly being a nice person, like I said before, unless he shows it to all of us, it's worthless. Only being nice to a few people while acting like shit towards the rest of the community doesn't mean jack.
