We can start nominating girls. Let's start with 20 nominations. there will be 4 1v1 voting polls per week. Then when we get to 10 it'll be 2 1v1 per week. Let's nominate only girls from 2012-2013.
Kotonoha no Niwa/ Garden of Words 10/10
As usual Makoto Shinkai produces a film with high definition animation, serene music, and a great story.

If Garfest v.2 is started, it should be only anime or comic characters. As soon as Bruce Lee was nominated the competition was over. Goku, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, and Superman should not be nominated.
Someone can start a nomination thread. The last time Jacob announce mote mote was in 2012? So the list would be out of date.
Just finished all the chapters that were uploaded. There' a lot of suspense in the story and times where I bit my lip in anger. Overall the manga was drawn pretty well for a mobile novel. I watched the live-action movie and it was watered down to PG...

Tail Star
by OKAMA
Long ago, in the far reaches of space, there existed a world as pure and blue as the Earth. And on this world, there lived two "Queens" with the power to control it. When the world is thrown into chaos by one of those queens, a young boy and a young girl must stand up to challenge her for the sake of protecting all that they hold dear.
It's a dark versus light story, but instead of the light becoming the victor, darkness has won. Now, the former kingdoms that fought for the light are subjugated to the dark's rule. I love this story because you see some elements from the TTGL and FLCL being implemented into the story. I say this manga has real potential, I just wish there was a dedicated scanslation team that would churn out more chapters.

@Yuri: That's awesome news! I bet it's a real headache trying to find all those threads.

Need a Girl
by Rue Byung-Min
Three boys who are desperately struggling to "make" a girlfriend in their sad adolescent lives. They then realize that their classmate, Ghang Han-Gyul - the manly, serious, quiet person of their class - has been secretly going out with a beauty for 100 days(A 100 day celebration of a relationship is seen as very significant). This triggers the friendship between the manly, serious Han-Gyul and the three dateless losers.
This manwha is hilarious. It's a high school theme slice of life story with fair amount of fan-service.

In my opinion, the OVAs which were bundled along with the tankoubon volumes of the manga did not do too well. Hopefully, more viewers will be interested once a full-blown season start airing. :)I agree. If a person had watched the OVAs without reading the manga it would be a lackluster story. At least with the series the audience will have enough time to become emotionally attached to the characters.

I've felt like it's only been a matter of time 'til they made a TV anime, ever since the OVA came out. Also, any word on the number of episodes?Nothing yet, but it will show up on ANN when the number of episodes will be announced. I suspect it will be about 25-26 episodes long since Suzuka was 26 episodes long.

was brought to my attention where users were asked to vote on the best anime couple. Seeing the results I thought to myself... what do the Japanese know about anime and manga? This poll doesn't even have an option for the clearly superior Asuka x Shinji pairing!Instead of relying on the Japanese to decide the best couple, I have recreated the exact same poll here on FAKKU. I haven't added any new options, this is the same poll.
So it's up to you, who is the best couple in anime?
TOP 5 couples should duke it out MOTE MOTE style
