I try not to read any chapters online if I am waiting on the physical versions to arrive and now I am impatiently waiting for shipping confirmation. And I am still waiting on 3 other books I ordered and waiting until they are shipping (TT.TT).I wish I could buy books, but the shipping is so damn expensive to canada... I am going to get Renai Sample though.

Does Project-H have good print quality? I've never bought from them before.Depends on what release and what you measure the quality on. The old releases were on thicker newsprint stock with bleeding edges and fading ink. The mid releases are still on bad paper, but the ink is better. The releases after fakku are better but the only time they print to tankobon specs are on limited editions like the 'Vanilla essence' kickstarter which you can get the other Yamatogawa release in the same setting.
They said that the books now on will be in Japanese print quality but the books don't seen so from what been released. Maybe they mean after july when the kickstarter prints are out.
The whole brand just reeks of low quality to me. From the dated releases to the poor digital quality to the poor print quality.

It's a great day got my #1 FAKKU release in today.
Somebody give this guy an achievement unlock
The detailing in the preview images hearkens back to Renai Sample, which is definitely a good thing. Also, finally some Oppai! Too many pattenako releases in the past while imo

Looking at that site reminded me how much I want Meme50's holy grail: Limit Break!! Fakku WHEN?! Btw, the later works do look better for sure.
Everyone has their first steps and artists are no different. Takeda Hiromitsu started out writing vanilla works before doing that twist in Ima Real and doing almost pure NTR for a while. But his latest work looks like he is going back to his pre-NTR phase; Sister Breeder, which I hope a certain site might start selling cough.
I am also waiting for those other Meme50 books.
Takeda Hiromitsu has done NTR/mind break/mind control since the beginning, majority of his doujins feature them.
Sister Breeder seems to be free from NTR. Couldnt be happier. It seems all the best artists just draw NTR...
Well there are certain styles that tend to fit the NTR and forced stories. Stuff like group sex with multiple guys on one girl and a good bit of bondage.
One of my favorite artist is Erect Sawaru. He does really weird ass stories that I think are probably one of the best because of how long it is and how much time he put into them. Most of his stories are not vanilla but there is no NTR endings (except for one) and I like how he build them up.
The reason I bring him up is that he had a vanilla story and it was one girl and one guy and it seemed ....lacking. While it is nice it did not really fit how he draws in my opinion. He's art is not exactly tuned to do that and a lot of Takeda Hiromitsu art is kind of like that too.
Idk man, the first chapter of IMA Real is really good, I really enjoyed it and thought the art was spot on. I think I get what you mean though.

I purchased the book last week and am waiting for it to arrive to read it. I did try the free digital copy that came with it because of the promotion they had going on. After reading the first chapter I decided to wait for the physical copy because their digital release is terrible. However, the chapter itself was interesting and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the story.Thats what I keep hearing. Project H digital = scanlation quality.

Is Inoue Makito's Wet a Wani book? Think they did another tank too...Yes both Wet and Queen of the Night are Wani books by Inoue Makito and they are both books I would like to see on FAKKU in the near future, having only one Inoue Makito chapter avilable on FAKKU is a travesty.
Quality art
Revised list of everything I want to see:
Girl Talk - Mogg
Shoujo no Togi - Hisasi (this has been a long time coming...)
Sister Breeder - Takeda Hiromitsu (no NRT?! with that art quality?! are you serious?!)
https://www.wani.com/4862694268/ - Akagi Asahito (look into this one, its incredible)
https://www.wani.com/4862693121/ - Kuronoju
Literally any book - MEME50

I only tried one of Project H's digital releases, the recently released "Strange Sex in Parallel Worlds". I was not happy with the quality of the digital file. It looks like a bad scan of the physical release. Parts of the file where pixelated where there should have been a clearly straight line (no it wasn't censoring) and some of the shading just looked really crummy. I honestly have seen better releases on scanlation sites (not of this particular book, just in general).Project H gives you a choice of which digital format you want to download in. For this title I went with a PDF so I can't say how their quality is for other formats.
From this experience I decided to stay with physical only releases with Project H titles since the quality is better.
Alright, looks like I am not buying from there. If the preview pages are any indication, its not good quality.
Renai Sample (digital lol, until I get the physical release) This is the Tier 1 Vanilla hentai, nothing comes close. K, that was a lie, a lot come close (MEME50 specifically), but none surpass. Any1 tells you otherwise, they are lying to you.

The first book someone writes or draws is usually the roughest one and I expect that from the first works an artist does. Lets look at MEME50 first book, XXX Maiden, and his later stuff. MEME50 drawn all of it but you can easily see the huge differences between them. But seeing the difference in art can be odd if they are in the same book. There is usually a chapter in a book that I didn't like as much as the others. I remember the first chapter of TiTiKEi having an almost completely different art then all of the others but I typically don't let that bother me, for every one chapter of that there is at least 6 more I really like.
XXX Maiden is MEME's first book?
That is what I believe the wani site said.

It personally never bothered me because as an artist myself, I love to see the evolution of an a person's art style. It does sort of annoy me when the chapters are out of order from publication (like putting the oldest with the older art style in the middle of a book when it should be in the start) but really, artist don't keep consistent styles. You notice a little evolution from one one volume to the next. It's something really apparent with regular comics or manga. Like, you can look at a long running series, like Naruto for example, check out volume one, and then check out the final volume of the manga. They'd look like they're drawn by completely different people, but in that time period you come to understand how much better they become, and notice what makes the art better. Ero-manga artist unfortunately (or fortunately) don't draw a chapter a week. Some go months in between a chapter, some only do two chapters a year, or less. This will mean you'll probably see a serious fluctuation from one chapter to the next when they're all collected in a single book.
I think thats why I like Renai Sample so much. It seems in that book, Homunculus had the same quality and the same style across all chapters. In Hajirai Break his style was evolving a lot more. Also more so than style, you really notice how much more detail his later works have compared to the earlier projects.
I want to buy some Yamatogawa books (digital) from Project H. What can I expect quality wise? DMR free, Uncensored (not decensored) ? Also do they have the x3200 and x2600 versions? What has your experience been with them?
Most of you know that books are just a collection of stories from a magazine. As the artist draws his level of skill increases and his style develops. What kind of bothers me in my books is when most of the chapters are in one style, and then there are like 1/2 chapters that are lesser in quality. A good example is the Shape Up chapter in PukiKano. So is this just me being too picky, or does this bother any of you guys also? Do you wish that artists would make sure that their whole books were consistent in quality or do you not care?

"*This release does not include the chapter "Lillth Collection: The Devil and the Saint ~Metamorphosis of Cursed Sexual Assault" per request from our Japanese licensor, Kill Time Communication. They truly apologize regarding the chapter removal, but they would appreciate it that you would still enjoy this release."
Buyer beware. Licensors butchering books dude... Very disappointing. Lets hope fakku never agrees to go along with this. Pulling chapters from the magazine is one thing, but piece mealing books is another, especially when digital.
