Rowdy Rocker! Posts
I think the opinions your looking for are a relative minority for this board. A lot of the members here do not like NTR. And by do not like I mean they hate it with no exception, and get up in arms about it all the time. I don't like NTR because it sometimes strikes a little too close to home. It's too bad because a lot of the artists who draw NTR are really really good. I like to joke that if I could just look at the raws, I could fap with no problems, because I wouldn't be able to understand a word!

Firstly, I'd like to say that the ending to...BOTH of the other mass effects were not only satisfying, but that there IS an ending that's not 'SO' bad you can get in this one, out of three and a special cutscene.
And I happened to like 2001.
Yes, the endings to ME and ME2 were great, and I liked 2001 as well. And that special ending did not do much to quell my rage. The ending is a spiked slap to your face and completely disregards all the choices you made in ME and ME2.

So after calming down and taking a step back...yeah no, the ending still sucks.

The less known (but still kinda popular) kuudere. Appears to be emotionless on the outside, but is a warm puddle of gooey love on the inside. Think Ayanami Rei and you have a classic kuudere.

Fuck what everyone else says. I'm having fun with the game (just broke off 12 hours straight play) and I don't appreciate it when others try to ram down my throat how 'bad' a game is and then quickly proceed to call me 'retard'. Losers. :PIf I listened to half what critics say I wouldn't be playing The Old Republic, too. This game is a great work, though I haven't tried the online yet, after this long playing and taking my time with everything I've yet to be disappointed. Now, back into it.
You'll change your tune when you finish the game. Everything before the end is executed perfectly. I won't deny it. Because I'm Garrus Vakarian and this is now my favorite place on the Citadel.
The ending is the biggest steaming pile of shit to ever disgrace a story. Ever. I cried at the end. Because this was the end. 5 years of fantastic memories, absolutely crushed by 5 minutes of bullshit. I mean that literally too; in 5 minutes Mass Effect 3 went from the most fantastic game I've ever played to wishing I could gouge my brain out so I could never remember this moment.

Model of Video CardModel of Monitor
Please
If you do not know, you can try this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ae9pcxbFyE
This blog also has roughly the same instruction. But its for version 9.9 (a tad old)
http://www.aoclarkejr.com/ati-catalyst-9-9-overcan-and-underscan-options.html
If you tried these and it is still not working. I would have to say the most common issue is your video card not outputting that resolution therefore leaving you with the black bar.
Now don't get angry I said most common. I am not trying to hurt your nerd cred.
ATI Radeon HD 4200
Two monitors, My VGA using a Dell ST220L and the HDMI connected monitor is an Asus VH232H. I've already tried switching the HDMI cable to the dell monitor, and that bit about 9.9 would have been helpful 2 years ago when I had a 32bit operating system. My video card does support 1920x1080, and I've already tried uninstalling and then reinstalling those drivers. There was even a guide where I could fix the problem by editing my Registry, but that didn't work as my subfolders under HKEY folders were not the same as in the guide.
So I had to get a new computer since the old one died. And my initial joy of being able to use the HDMI ports on my LED monitors has been dampened by the fact that whatever monitor I hook my HDMI cable up to is underscaled, which means that when I set my monitors to display 1920x1080 like they're supposed to be, the HDMI one has a 1" black margin around all sides. I looked up the problem and found that ATI likes to do this with all HDMI outputs. I've looked at guide after guide after guide on how to fix it, but they are all years old and haven't helped me. I've tried using ATI's Catalyst Control Center, but in the 12.1 version I have there is no option. I've been unable to find an older version which has been shown to have the option, but in this new version it doesn't exist.
TLDR; My HDMI screen is underscaled and my searches have failed me. Please help!
OS is WIN7 Home Premium, 64bit

*Krogan rageface*Oh well, gotta deal with it then.
Speaking of melee, I heard it being different from class-to-class, with adepts and vanguards punching people with biotics (about time too), and infiltrators using electricity from some unlimited power.
Is it just an animation thing, or does it add anything to gameplay?
Krogan run around headbutting people, and their heavy melee involves them mad charging into the enemy. You run in a straight line so you can't exactly dodge, but it's almost a guaranteed one-hit.
Did you end up buying MQ2? I've been looking for a free copy forever, being the cheapo bastard I am. If none can be found I suppose I'll just fork up the cash for it, but still.
Surprised to see another story so soon after your last release, be careful not to burn yourself out! I like where you're going so far, though from the looks of it things are gonna get pretty nasty in the next chapter.

It seems Flynn will have to go down to Kildare without me, Evelyn is sick again. I was troubled to see a cure provided by the McAlisters prove to be ineffective, but Andrew admitted that the symptoms of a cold are common to a great many diseases, and it was possible they provided the wrong treatment. He assured me that they would take a second look at Evelyn at no extra charge. He seemed to view it more as a matter of pride than doing it as an apology; his streak as a perfectionist follows him even years after I graduated school with him. Evelyn will stay with them until she gets better. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but she warmed up to his wife right away, and she seemed to be very good with children anyway.
Being confident that she was in good hands, I decided that it had been too long since my last glass of whiskey and hit up my favorite pub. The Twisted Root was run by some very pretty elves, whose practice of making alcohol had not changed for the 1200 years they’ve been making it. If only I could look that good if I ever hit 1200. Fortunate for them and unfortunately for the lonely young men who wandered in the pub looking for more than just a drink, the family who ran the pub could likely beat the daylights out of any human without even blinking an eye. No one has ever tried to pull a move on any of the elves since a man named Sean got a little too forceful on one of the younger elves and ended up with every bone in his inebriated body broken. To avoid a lawsuit, the elves eventually healed him. They even created a new drink in his honor; The Sean Bomb. I think they touch it up with a bit of magic, as anyone who drinks the whole shot is, without fail, instantly knocked on their ass from the strength of it. After Sean recovered, he always got a Sean Bomb for free, if ever he asked for one.
But I was not so depressed today that I needed to get my snot knocked out by some magic drink. No, today would just be a few shots of whiskey and maybe a small pint of something else. I took my usual seat at the bar, and was greeted warmly by the eldest elf. She’d been the one to coax me out of the months of depression following the death of my Lora…always making sure I at least didn’t drown myself in the liquor. We exchanged our usual pleasantries, and I let her know how Evelyn was doing. She too shared my sentiment of how stubborn Andrew could be, and that he had found a wife that was just as stubborn as he. The two were born for each other, even if she was born a hundred years before him the old elf told me. I myself never really saw the age difference, but these inhuman women seemed to age much better than us normal folk. Lora always envied them, despite my constant fawning over her own gorgeous looks.
I ended up on my 3rd shot of fire before something unusual happened. Not unusual as in someone came jumping through a window, but unusual as in there was a woman who caught my eye. In the 6 years since the death of my Lora, I had not even thought of another woman. I initially took her for an elf, given how young she looked and the quaint style in which she dressed, but the eldest elf did not recognize her but again shared my sentiments; neither of us had ever seen a more brilliant set of red hair in our lives, which spoke more volumes from the old elf as she had been around since before the Normans came.
I did not realize it at the time, but as I think back I now realize that she caught no other eyes in the pub. It was as though only I had seen her, truly seen her. I immediately dismissed myself for the night, not wishing to make a mistake should my inhibitions become unhinged by the lubrication of whiskey.
Still, she has not left my mind since.
My Lora, please forgive me.
