lol I know told somedude he was "anti-fun" for being straight edge (I was just messing with him) but here's the truth: I wouldn't necessarily say that I'm "Straight Edge", but I choose not to drink/smoke/etc., mostly because I promised myself that everything my dad is I would never become (he's a big drinker). I dunno the term Straight Edge just seems a little funny to me, and not ha-ha funny, just... funny.
I've been wearing Etnies Shoes ever since middle school, hell I've been wearing the same pair for over a year now.
One of those bands that play with such energy and conviction, they will always have a place in my playlist. (9/10!!)

I like characters that struggle to achieve something and not characters that are automatically perfect at every thing they do. that combined with a "Never Say Die" attitude, that's great.

Umm... no, they most certainly are not.
EDIT: However Maiden, and the NWOBHM did help influence the sub-genre that would become Thrash Metal.

My spelling tends to lean more towards Commonwealth English spelling, but I amnæ from Britain, Scotland, Australia or Ireland (though I am 1/4 Irish; no bearing on my spelling, still), so I just wanted to make sure that you weren't confused.

yeah I know I'm just havin' my fun.
The Beat Crusaders are Okay. Unfortunately the only things I'm familiar with are the anime intros and the Kappa Mikey intro. Their music never really caught my attention or never really got me looking for more. I do love the work they did for the BECK soundtrack though they're credited as BECK or The Dying Breed (the bands in the anime).
