This is the Random section, not Serious, right? No one here is under any sort of obligation to attempt to even read the entire post. As Yushi said, he needed a blog. The thread was simply a retelling of personal events, which was so self-contained that it would be hard to create a conversation around it. Essentially, it would be pointless for pretty much anyone to post here. Considering the circumstances, the outcome was not surprising (except for the whole deleting his account thing).

Grouping's a good idea, although with some tankobon releases it won't make much of a difference since some of them consist entirely of stand-alone stories.

I don't think a precedent has been set for something like this. I think in the case you (might) be referring to, the person also had other stuff like child porn. I think there's been plenty of people who imported the manga who haven't gotten into trouble, so I don't see why the poster would. A Kodomo no Jikan doujin would be a much more "dangerous" thing to handle since most doujins are sexually explicit, while the poster just features partial nudity. Still, it's not a very "safe" thing to have, so if your friend is worried about it, I wouldn't recommend him getting it.
