Not really Hachikuji is the worst character in the series
No no you got it all wrong. I think Hanekawa is among the most interesting and most developed character in the series. With hate-able I mean you don't want to show any sympathy for her. Because that is what she wants you to do.

The point that stands out the most with the series is the engaging dialog. If you dislike long conversation or monologues, then sure, I can understand you.
