Accel World is horrible. The idea is great, the world is kinda cool, and the side characters are awesome. But I have never, ever, ever hated a protagonist like I hated the tubby little cry baby. There is really no way to describe how absolutely annoying and pathetic he is. He goes beyond anyone's sympathy and ruined the entire show. That's why we're laughing at him.
