The box was to easy to exploit and also made it so you could double post without the message coming up saying "No double posting. Idiot" or whatever it says.

The main problem here is not that much the lack of tags but the tagging itself , a lots of doujins just been tagged as vanilla and nothing more , i think it's the uploaders's job to fix that issue ^^

How bad some of these seasons were, whoever does this really does need a reward.

Given that I am completely green at using forums, combined with the fact that laziness is in my blood, would it be too much to make the functionality in the comments work like the ones in the forum?

Oh, yes, currently, quote cascades are very hard to follow because it's hard to identify to who pertain each text, and it's also hard to distinguish if certain text if from the next or previous quote. Example:



I think a simple solution would be to swap background color between par and odd # of the quote. The color swap would be just a darker or lighter color.

Quote #1: Color presented above (or current if bleh)
Quote #2: Similar to above, but brighter/darker
Quote #3: Same as #1.
Quote #4: Same as #2.
Quote #5: Same as #1.

Also a workaround with the margins wouldn't be that bad. Maybe by just using a sightly smaller quote sign would do wonders for 2+ cascades (as each save on spaces sums up).
