Just arrived today, hope to get Sojihogu's book here in the future.

Is this an illustration book or does it have actual stories? As much as I adore Sojihogu's artwork it doesn't seem like he's drawn a lot of stories. Only count 2 here on Fakku.

It has stories, I think about 6 or 7.

Yeah. both of the stories here on FAKKU are in it, and the limited edition actually had both of the spreads that FAKKU has (plus a few others) as fold-out posters. One of those stories is the prequel to https://www.fakku.net/hentai/for-now-lets-just-go-bareback-again-english, and that alone screams that the tankoubon is worth having IMHO given that that's easily one of the best chapters on FAKKU. Per what it lists in the back, there are 6 stories, with them being from X-Eros 15, 17, 20, 25, 35, and 37. The table of contents lists 7 though, so one of them was probably done for the book. I don't know if that's all of Sojhogu's stories from that time period, but it's only 6 over 2 years (plus the one for the book). So, it does seem to highlight how infrequently Sojihogu does chapters. But with how gorgeous the artwork is and how sexy the stories are, it was a no-brainer for me to buy the Japanese edition, and I _really_ hope that we get an uncensored, English edition from FAKKU. And with only two of the chapters being on FAKKU right now, it's not even like we'd just be getting a better version of the same content we have now from Sojihogu. It's mostly stuff that we don't have.
Well, Hinasaki Yo's artwork _is_ criminally sexy. So, how can I say no to that? :)

On a side note though, the announcement post for this should probably make it clear that clicking on the image takes you to this thread. _All_ it has is the title of the book and an image - not even the author's name. And since it (sadly) didn't occur to me to click on the image, I had to dig around in the forums to find this thread to even find out what the book was, let alone stuff like when it's being released.
Well, this book is clearly not up my alley, but it's good to see that the number of publishers that FAKKU has access to is increasing.
Well, I sure hope that they make this MEME50 Box Set available for purchase in the FAKKU store.
Well, _that_'s sure a sexy cover. :)
Well, I'm sure not going to say no to another hentai magazine being in the mix. :)

Buying just for that story.

You say that like you haven't bought all the books already.

LOL. Yeah, it does look like animefreak_usa has bought them all. But FAKKU has released enough of them now with a large enough variety that it's becoming increasingly likely that one or more of them won't be to your taste. I think that I've only skipped out on one of them thus far, but there have been a couple of them where I wished that I hadn't shelled out for them after I got the chance to read them. And this new batch has both some obviously awesome ones and some that are obviously undesirable - at least to me, and I expect that others will feel the same (though not necessarily for the same books). So, it makes less and less sense to buy them all, much as I'm sure that Jacob would love it if we all did. :)

That is correct, there was a large size limited edition that we do not have access to (same as all limited editions). We will be publishing the traditional tank version.

Well, that's a shame. The large size version looks really nice and really helps do the artwork justice. But it'll still be fantastic to have it uncensored and in English even if it's in the smaller format.

Speaking of limited editions, this (along with other great books such as Titikei) had some pretty cool limited edition releases in Japan, with different covers, extra art, and larger page size, closer to something like B5, instead of the usual manga tankoubon size.

Will FAKKU be releasing such editions in the future? For books like this one, the art's definitely worth it.

It would definitely be disappointing if this were released with the normal tankoubon dimensions rather than the larger dimensions of the Japanese release.
How can you say no to more Homunculus? :)

This is actually one of those that can be obtained via scanlations, so I've read it before and really liked it, but it'll be fantastic to have it legally - and uncensored no less. It's too bad that FAKKU only releases one tankoubon a month.

Hope we get some posters from this, awesome.

It has a number of images that are ripe for posters, and IIRC, at least one of the limited edition versions had a poster or wall scroll. There are a number of manga around here that should have posters for sale but don't. However, this one would top the list of those that should IMHO. So, I really hope that we get at least one poster out of it.

In general, I wish that FAKKU sold posters for more of its manga, but that probably gets to be a bit of a pain from the perspective of licensing. I know that project-h had a bit of trouble with that for the stretch goals for their Vanilla Essence kickstarter, and that was only dealing with one artist who was obviously on board with what they were up to (though the issues probably were with the Japanese publisher and not Yamatogawa), whereas FAKKU would be dealing with a variety of artists for a variety of unrelated works. It would be great though if they managed it. Still, at least they have managed to get us several great posters already, even if it's not for everything that we might like.
It looks like we'll actually get the whole story now instead of just chapter 3 (in addition to whatever else is in the book). And the fact that that one chapter is the only thing that we've gotten from this artist on FAKKU thus far is practically a crime. :)
This one is epic. Oda Non is one of the best hentai artists out there, and this thing is huge and in all color with really sexy stories and artwork. I had to buy it in Japanese, and I'm definitely going to be buying it in English. And having it uncensored just makes it that much more epic. The only problem is how long we'll have to wait to get it. :)
I would love to buy those doujinshi, but I'm not going to be there, so I can't say that I'm very happy that it's "Limited Convention Merchandise." The folks who are going to be there are quite lucky to be able to get those.

I hope that they consider putting the doujinshi up for sale in the FAKKU store after the convention, but if it's supposed to be "Limited Convention Merchandise," then it doesn't sound like that's likely. :(
It works for me now. :) Thanks!
I would have thought that after they were done with the April 1st jokes, they would have just reverted to the previous version, in which case, I would have expected it to work as well now as it did before the April 1st stuff, but either they didn't do that for whatever reason, or something weird is going on. :|

Hopefully, it's not too hard to figure out though.
Thanks for making them png files this time!
I never have an answer for these sort of polls, because I always wait for the Blu-rays (whether that means the US release or fansubs of Blu-ray rips). I'd just prefer to wait and get the higher quality (and avoid the pain of having episodes spaced out over several weeks instead of watching them all at once).

Haven't seen this one answered yet, but how is FAKKU going to prevent people from just saving the images or screenshot them and upload to somewhere else? I really want to subscribe and support FAKKU but I'm afraid that people will dishonestly put them up somewhere else.

It's not possible to prevent people from extracting the images be it by screnshots or a camera or whatever. I don't think that it's even possible to prevent people from downloading the images. It's just possible to make it harder so that no one can do it casually. It takes a bit of effort. It's the same with any kind of DRM. At best, it just slows down casual piracy. Anyone who's determined to will be able to get their hands on the images and redistribute them. Regardless, FAKKU's success relies on providing a quality service that folks are willing to pay for. If someone started uploading the subscription content en masse, then that could harm FAKKU, but anyone who actually cares about this content continuing to be published is going to need to pay or risk having FAKKU fail, and then they won't be getting that content anymore. And the reality is that in many cases, piracy actually helps sales, because folks get their hands on the pirated content, find that they like it, and then buy more, and many of the folks who pirate never would have paid for the content in the first place, so if they pirate it and never pay, it's not like FAKKU loses out on anything.

There's really no point in worrying much about piracy beyond perhaps preventing casual piracy, and even that can be dangerous to do, because if it's done badly, it hinders the experience for those who actually pay, which could cause them to stop paying. And not paying for a subscription because someone else might pirate the content and ultimately ruin the service doesn't really make sense. It'll suck if that happens, but even if it does, you can pay for the content up until the point that FAKKU closes its doors, and the fact that you're paying will help keep it around that much longer regardless of whether pirating because an issue. So, if you are interested in the content, just get a subscription. Worst case, this whole thing ultimately falls apart (as much as a shame as that would be), and you stop paying. Not having subscribed won't stop that. It'll just mean that you don't get the content (unless you're pirating it) and that FAKKU and the mangaka get that much less money, and FAKKU is that much less likely to succeed.

1) What resolution are the images at (the bigger the better for my TV)?

They're larger than will fit on your TV at full resolution. I believe that they're slightly shorter than 2000 pixels tall. You'd need a 4K TV to see an entire image at full resolution. If you turned your 1080p TV (or monitor) on its side, you'd get close to seeing the whole thing, but it would be a tad too wide. If you open up a chapter in your browser and select "Original Size" for the image, you won't be able to see the whole thing on your TV, and you can see how much bigger it is than your TV, though there are options to make it fit or to be shown at a particular percentage of the original size.
