I'm not good in front of crowds, I had to give a presentation to my whole class based on research we had been doing for the course. Ended up having a panic attack and running outside...I'm actually naturally ok with giving presentations. I guess taking an presentation class will do that too you but that does sound unpleasant. You're always going to be nervous during an presentation but you can actually that nervous and anxiety to empower your presentation by moving your hands in accordance to what you're, speaking strongly, and be very captivating.
I have pretty bad social anxiety, so it kinda doesn't empower me so much as terrify me. At least I can give in the presentation I would have used and get marked on its content as an alternative.
Actually fear is a great motivator since fear can make us confront the danger ahead of us but social anxiety is no laughing matter and it isn't something words can't solve unless it's encouragement. That's a good compromise.
