My day was peachy until a door decided to be a skank and close faster than I expected it to. Left a nasty-ass scrape on my elbow.
That's why you should always think twice about looking at the comments section. It's like a game of Russian roulette with that shit.

GB finally got gold (in rowing), 8 badminton players disqualified for throwing matches, and David Cameron makes athletes lose at anything he shows up to watch. Also GB women's football team beat favourites Brazil, looking good. They also got their second in Cycling, and they've held the upper hand in their football match against Uruguay so far, and if they manage to hold on and either tie or win to qualify for the quarterfinals it'll cap off a pretty good day for the Brits.
On another note, I'm glad for my Mexicans. With the win against Switzerland, we qualified for the next round of Men's Football. Really hope team GB wins so that we face Senegal instead of Uruguay.

Also, do they regularly inspect your place, or was there a specific reason for it?There was a specific reason behind it since my (ex-)father couldn't pay his debts and kept himself hidden. The cops came twice to our place for that very reason.
Ah, I see. Similar thing happened to me once. One of my cousins supposedly witnessed a murder and a judge summoned him to court to testify, but he went into hiding because he was scared (it was a gang-related murder or something along those lines). A state cop came by our house once to check if he was there. He was, but luckily he had actually been out of the house when the cops showed.

Well glad that mostly the lotto reclaims didn't touch on any characters I was hoping for.Now to get ready for the real thing.
Same here. I'm on the edge of my seat here.
Hoping Mexico can get the gold in football, or at the very least medal.
And yea, China's pretty much dominating in terms of gold medals. However, they're tied with the US in overall medal count, so not a bad showing for them either.

Try the men football competition in Olympic Games,Spain have been knocked out after being defeated 1-0 by Honduras, shouldn't miss the third round of group stages.Maybe both of Japan and Korean will meet each other in semi-final,if they won't have to face with Brazil and UK in quartersThe football at the Olympic Games have actually been pretty good so far. There's only been one scoreless draw so far in the tournament (my Mexicans against the Koreans), and every other game has been at the very least mildly entertaining. The biggest shock so far, as you mentioned, is that Spain were swept aside with ease by Japan and Honduras. And if they don't score against Morocco, they'll be the only team to leave the Olympics without a single goal to their tally.
On another note, my Pumas are playing Celaya in the Copa MX right now. So glad they brought the tournament back, I missed having a domestic cup tournament in Mexico. I've been a little disappointed with UNAM's transfers so far for the start of the season, though. We got the Argentine Tito Villa and the Spaniard Luis Garcia, but neither have really had a major impact thus far. I mean, we've only played two games in the season so far, but still. Villa had a good debut in the preseason, but he's had a disappearing act since the start of the season.
I don't know how many of you follow Mexican soccer, but just thought I'd throw that out there for those who care.
I was scared of looking at the pics of that homeless dude that got his face chewed off by the Miami Cannibal, but when I actually saw them I was like, "Huh, this isn't as bad as I thought it would be," and stuff.
So yea, I think I can handle them. Or at least most of them.

I dunno. Probably when I called the cops a few times when I was like 7 years old. I was messing around with the phone pretending to call the cops and I really did. The cops came and .... fuck. It happened 2 more times and got warned by the cops that if it happens one more time my parents would go to jail. O:Yea, I did the same thing when they first taught us about 9-1-1. The cops pretty much scolded my parents about minding their kid and they, in turn, scolded me. I thought it was pretty funny (still do).

My buddy got pulled over for loud exhaust and bald tires. When he was done dealing with him he asked me for my licence. He walked back to his car to run me through the computer. I turned to my friend and told him I had a bench warrant out on me he told me not to worry they'll probably give you a ticket or something. The cop came back and asked me to step out of the car, I barely got out and shut the door when the cop grabs me by the back of the neck and slams me over the hood of the car so hard it dents in the hood, I'm like, no need to be a dick about it, I was complying. Anyhoo, grandparents came an got me out. Oh yea, all of my neighbors just happend to be driving by at the time of the arrest, I was like, oh great, now my friends won't be allowed around me ever again.Wow, that's awesome. You missed out on a day of court and you're instantly treated like a criminal. Sounds fun.
Although, being serious, you gotta be careful with those things. Some judges are incredibly harsh about how they punish people in contempt of court.

But the bold stays.Why?
Habit. I've always used bold font on other forum sites. Some people use fruity colors to make their posts distinct. Others write in italics only. I liked bold, so I stuck with it.
Why do feel a need to make your post "distinct"?
Dunno. Like I said, I liked how it looked, so I stuck with it. That's pretty much my only motivation now.

How about reading I am a Hero if you can digest the art style? Don't be fooled for its earlier chapters as it is actually about a zombie apocalypse.Glad you like it. Most people I know are put off because of the art...
I'm going to have to agree with the OP here, I just looked it up when I read your post and it's pretty sweet so far. Mad rep for that recommendation.

Cops coming to our place for inspection. Also, it's bad to look and read bold text when capitalization is avoided.
Jeez, I didn't know I was conversing with a forum full of English scholars. I guess I'll make the effort to use full proper grammar. But the bold stays.
Also, do they regularly inspect your place, or was there a specific reason for it?

I've just been pulled over for speeding...Twice.
Got a ticket both times.
And four points on my license...
Like I've mentioned before, I've gotten pretty lucky with speeding. I've been pulled over twice and only got warnings both times, but I've been followed around four or five times because cops saw me doing between 10-15 over. Not a single ticket yet, though. It's all about your luck with the cops in your area, I suppose.

not sure how it is in other countries, if cops on TV is anything to go by, but ive had a cop once or twice pull me over when i was in my old car (an old 1997 Ford Futura (Australian ford)) but since i got my new XR 6 Ford Falcon(only 3 months old) ive been pulled over 19 times for what called RBT's or random breath tests!!!!Yea, I've heard stuff like that. Supposedly cops also tend to stop red cars more often, too. I don't know if there's any statistical data to prove it, but it's what I've heard.

The cops took me and my friends fireworks once when we were 16. That sucked ass.How did you get caught? I mean, maybe if you were flailing your arms while running down the street yelling "look at my pretty fireworks", but otherwise I don't see how. Unless they took them while you were setting them up, or something.

Pffft, we weren't looking back.I figured. I wouldn't have either, haha.
i'll go with 0-0.9. the only thing i have occasionally liked outside of that is futa, but not enough to be a 1.
i had a hard time choosing between garterbelt and bustier. garterbelts are pretty sexy, but, on the right girl, a bustier can make any guy pop an insta-stiffy.
eh, i'll go with bustier.

I have my own laptop while sharing a bedroom with my brother (15). Thankfully, he steps out of the house for tutoring a lot, and my parents have work downstairs, so I have it somewhat easy here. Can't say the same for my dorm. :/
My dorm was great for this. I paid extra for a private room that had a lock on it.
same here. i had to dorm in a double freshman year (school rules for us), but after that i've had a single and it's pretty much boss. you don't get the same amount of room, but at least there's a lock for privacy.
and i didn't know you could get a single without a lock. that sounds... ugh, weird.

You asked "what" the test was, not "what kind of paper" or "how the test works". So no, not apparent. And yes, have you met me?
maybe not apparent enough for you, but it was enough for Longevity to give me the answer i was looking for, so... yea. i'll concede your point, though. so, uh, my bad. and stuff. oh, and yea, i haven't met you before. either in person or on here. so don't eat me.
anyways, since this is a question thread and all...
i have to take a European history course above the 200 level to finish my International Relations and Diplomacy degree. i have three choices i can make:
- HIST 291 - Europe Betweem Popes and Kings: History of Europe's change from a Universal Christian Community of Dynastic Realms to a community of territorialized Dynastic States and territorialized Christian Sects.
- HIST 293 - European National States Crisis, 1871-1945: The course examines Europe from the unification of Germany in 1871 to the division of Germany in 1945 emphasizing the relationship between national social and political change and international conflict.
- HIST 323 - English Tudor-Stuart Period, 1485 1715: This course is a socioeconomic history of Renaissance England and the interrelationship of social change with the development of political and religious institutions.
the descriptions are from our school site. i know they may not sound that interesting to some people, but if given the choice, what would you go with? 'cause i really don't care which one i choose as long as i get the requirement done.
