I have noticed this for a few years now, so wondering if it will ever be addressed, but the forum search is fairly broken.
  • Selecting 'filter by forum' seems to return no or little results. For example, Select Comics and search for Bless. 1 Result, with no mention of any "Aqua Bless" results.

  • Search text is cleared every damn time a search is performed, so modifying search is incredibly frustrating. Example, any search

  • Selecting a 'sort by' causes all other form elements to reset to blank. This element seems to be for after a search is done, to order existing results, yet it is above the 'search' button, which makes no sense. Example, enter 'Oni Bride' and selected Order by Date, form resets. Enter 'Oni Bride' and search, then select Order by Date, results order, but some form elements are reset, such as Filter by Forum.

  • Filter results by user, doesn't work at all, always returns no results. Example, enter 'Brittany' in Filter by User and search, no results returned.

  • Zero feedback provided after searches, such as 'no results' or even 'search term required'

  • It also seems that some of the search results depends on if the user who posted is registered or subscribed.

3rd time buying... but worth it.

Would of course re-buy, "How Good Was I". That might be my fave Yamatogawa.

Thanks for the info! I never noticed the publisher info until now.

Does Fakku have a website for Full Moon? I looked around on google and didn't find them.
Smuggins Just Some Guy
Is Oni Bride digital only? I checked the Fakku Book Releases thread and didn't see it mentioned at all.

I noticed the Library is no longer showing me books I have yet to buy. Is this a glitch or an unannounced change? I would always use the library to figure out which books I wanted to buy.

In case it matters: Chrome OS, Chrome browser, Asus tablet.

Ahh, thanks! That never even occurred to me to check the previous book.

I noticed on the back cover and the map, that there is reference to 'August Lights' and 'August Lights (Finale)'.

Is there a missing chapter or was that content renamed/repacked (if it ever existed)?

Most tags primarily apply to the female, so I wouldn't suggest tags for male characters.

I thought I had responded to this particular item. I think this is a stupid and short sighted policy. Why ignore female readership? I didn't realize fakku catered exclusively to men, but I appreciate the clarification. This info should really be posted more prominently so that no one's time is wasted, but then Fakku would have to regard non-men as worthy of consideration.

Such a tragic loss. One of my fav artists. Had great style.

I would like a tag for a single character ejaculating on another. Basically the opposite of creampie, which most porn sites put under 'cumshot'.

I don't really care what label is used, but I do have a collection of 8+ pages:

Thanks I appreciate the response.

Is there a tag for a single character ejaculating on another then? There seems to be a lot of specialty tags (christmas, crotch tattoo, etc.) and there is a tag for the reverse (creampie).

If there isn't a tag already, how would I petition/ask for one officially?

Thanks!

Sunstone by Stjepan Šejić

...

Sex Criminals from Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky kind of got the ball rolling in a mainstream way that western ero comics can sell in big numbers.

I really enjoyed Sunstone!

I got into Sex Criminals because of the name, but I would argue that it isn't an erotic comic, rather it is much more a comic with occasionally nudity. The sex scenes are fairly short (usually 1 page) and fairly non-explicit. I would say that there isn't really a mainstream erotic book beyond Moore's Lost Girls, in that it is explicit.

My criteria of eroticism, inspired by Echo Chernik's thoughts. That eroticism is at the least titillating, but mostly an engagement of the erotic/sensual senses. While to a degree it is a matter of taste, in most erotica the participants are GGG and enjoying of the sexual experience.

That is why I would put Sex Criminals and Lost girls at one end of a spectrum, 'Yes Roya' and other Iron Circus works/ 'I Roved Out' in the middle, and then most Slipshine/Alfie at the other end.

Particularly Lost Girls, while sexually explicit and perhaps erotic to some tastes, it is largely non-consensual and shows little enjoyment of actual sex. For most of the characters, sex is used as a weapon against them (particularly Alice).

Thanks for the other recommendations, I'll check them out!

Sundome, which I really like too.

That makes me happy to hear that. No one else like it... probably why I got the complete set in English for cheap and had the Japanese version.

Fakku didn't do it. Denpa did it. Vol 2 is May 19, 2020 baring coronavirus makes later.

Ya, that is what I was just figuring out looking at the back of the book... derp.

Yay! I got the english version off of Barnes and Noble years ago, before I even new what hentai was.

I didn't think about it before, but I am guessing that it isn't a Fakku published book (missing from YQII list, etc.), just distributing.

So, does anyone know if there is a second volume? Very curious about the story.

This was a $20 buy, but didn't quite have the Fakku quality (lighter paper, no slip cover, no color pages). Will that change or is the quality and price entirely set by whoever is printing?

Enjoyed book, reminded me of Sundome, which I really like too.

Definitely would shell out for Hardcover (heh, hard), but seriously, my Milkyway would be 60% more awesome as hardcover. It is already awesome, just love the wear and tear a HC can take.

Is pre-order opening up soon?

I had some questions about tagging and wanted to get some clarifications from Fakku staff.

Glasses - Does this tag apply only when a female character wears glasses? I have a glasses collection and submitted the tags for the ones that didn't already have the glasses tag, but none of the tags have been approved, so I wondered if it was more than coincidence that when men wear glasses, the tag doesn't show?

Bukkake - I assumed this was being used as the opposite of creampie. I found examples of chapters marked Bukkake with just one male and female character (Thank you Vanilla Essence), but haven't seen my tags being approved for similar, so wanted to check.

Love the new tagging system. I like that the tags you added show when you go back to add more tags. Would love to have them show on the summary page, not just the 'add tags' page. The pending tags could show in a different color (yellow/red or something), so even if the tags suggested are not approved, users would still see what the tagged it as.

Thanks for info! Just bought it, just to find out.

I remember the sinking city story! I really like that one, plus the author is great. Really like the style, which shares aspects of Meme50 (but a bit more variety on the body styles).

Will automatically guy this one as soon as possible.

FYI, libraries do not make it easy to show what you are reading or what you plan to read, IRL. A librarian will be of little help, but UX person might :)

While I see your point about the one click buttons (or no click, if fakku tracked), I just use collections labeled ToRead, ToBuy, etc. and that works well enough that I can understand Fakku focusing on different changes like tags.

There is so much content on Fakku, I can understand the emphasis on the tagging system, which is great. I appreciate anything that makes it easier to find what I like.
