Laggi asked me to help him with drawing faces so here's a short tutorial :) It's just from front though. If somebody wants me to, I can also make a bit turned (showing ~3/4 of the face) and profile tutorials later.
Didn't know what style to use so I picked quite a neutral one, I hope it's okay.
Explanation & Tips below
Start with a ball, then draw two lines that end up forming a rough upside down triangle underneath the ball. Eyes to the middle of this balltriangle. Remember that whatever the size of the eyes, the space between them should be fitted for one more eye. Any closer or wider looks retarted. When looking straight, the irises get a bit covered by the upper eyelid and barely touch the lower lid. Ears start from eyebrows and continue to the nose which is located at the bottom of the ball (although with cute anime girls the ears tend to be smaller and start lower). If you're going for a more realistic style, draw the chin wide, anime characters usually have a more pointy chin. Men have wider chin and neck than women (young boys have thin necks).

Thank you! :) Ah I haven't been on computer much lately, busy with the photoshoot I told you about plus now that the shoot is over, they have been inviting me to all sorts of fun meetings, such as laser gaming with a huge group of people - which was awesome :D
Also if I've been on computer, I usually have something I've promised to draw and when I draw I rarely skype. AND the few times I've actually been on skype, you've been in "Do not distract" -mode, so I never dear to start a conversation with you haha.

I just realized how varying your style is. I like it how the Miku pics look a bit girly, the Konata pic is well, Lucky Star style and that Tegumis avatar pic is a bit more realistic. And I really really like the way you color :o All those wrinkles in the Tegumi picture are so well drawn and even more well colored.+ you dont seem to have much problems with hands. I hat drawing hands and the hands on your drawings are so pretty. Me jealous :>
Haha you just need to understand how a hand is build, and when that's out of the way, it'll come naturally. I used to draw hands like this but nowadays I pretty much can go without the guidelines :)
About the varying style, you pointed out my biggest problem! I'm having a hard time with settling into just one style. I love drawing massive sparkly eyes and ridiculously long flowy hair, but somehow it feels like the easy way out. I also think more realistic way looks more professional at times.
