Two Ishikei doujinshi!!


Although many of you may have seen scans of these, the books look AMAZING in person. These things are freakin huge!! (they are the first doujinshi I have owned - I have plenty of hentai manga, but these just seem so big comparatively) Larger than US standard comic dimensions these books are almost calendar sized. If you have ever wondered why anyone would want to buy physical copies, one glance would probably convince you. The print quality in these is amazing and far better than any comic book I've ever seen. The colors are incredibly crisp and vibrant, and the lines very sharp. The pages they are printed on are also very durable. Here are some photo samples I took:





Apparently it was pretty hard to track these down, and randomly they were found on ebay through a private seller from Japan. The Mrs said she paid much more for them than they probably cost to pick up at Comiket or in Japan, but that is expected with a price mark up and shipping costs, never the less I pretty much crapped my pants when I got these..I also had to go out and find some over sized slip covers for these so they stay in shape. Holy shit so awesome!! (Just thought I'd share - and if you can buy high quality doujinshi like this in person, do it!)

Well I figured I might as well introduce myself here. I've been a huge lover of doujinshi for a while, to the point where I'm often checking this site for updates, so I decided to give the forums a try since the community looks like a bunch of sound people. :3

Well, introductions first, I'm Tree, from Ireland, lover of everything anime, manga, gaming and of course the art.

Throwing out some random favourites there, I adore Gurren Lagann, Harvest Moon and Wine Gums.
