while most of you were discussing the post requirement and so on, I have come up with a good Idea (well thats my opinion).

You know I had the idea of a password protection thread, but I guess that It will not be implemented.

thats why I have looked for a way to do this myself and have the simple idea to just make .swf data in which I store my hentai links.

for now If have not been able to implement it, but if have made an example of how I think it will be.

the pass for this is "fakku" and the link will only leed to fakku.
cause this is just a test and doesn´t have any real usefull function so far.
also this is just a shockwave format using macromedia (so adobe) shockwave player

It doesn´t look that pretty I admit but it gets the job done.
So once I have the .swf ready I will simply upload it somewhere (would be kind if fakku would allow me to upload it here), then implment it by using the flashoption and hand out the password via PM.

You might think this is a little bit extreme but for me it´s the only working option I can think about atm.
So once the .swf is ready and all my uploads are reupped I will give it a try and hopefully not being PM-Spammed by some leechers

well this way just give the uploader himself the power to decide and in addition it should also be possible to change a currently existing password for a thread, just in case some other guy around fakku is providing the password to other users.

since Linkreporting came to a new level when my whole collection thread and also some of klowns links got reported after a couple of hours I came up with an idea during the random thread that I started

the idea includes the following methodes to hopefully achive a more secure upload section one fakku.

most important:
If you create a thread the uploader should be able to enter a password for this thread.
By doing so only members who know the password can enter this thread.
The password is then only given to members via PM by the uploader himself.

further more to prevent spaming like "why can´t I enter the certain thread, there should be a sticky thread that contains the necessary information.
also to protect the uploader form massive PM spaming, there should be an profile option, allowing you to block messages from users.
lets say by using an option in your profile that allows you to choose if you only want to recieve messages from users with certain rep or number of posts.
then you could create something like a wastebasket, where all the blocked messages are stored and deleted after 3 days or something like that.

I know this is a bit overcharged but I you could implement all this on fakku I am sure that every uploader will bless you guys.

but at least it would keep them from spamming the forum I hope, since no one would care about them and the only person who is able to grant them access is the uploader himself.

and as for the inbox spam, you could also implement a function that only people you allow to can send you pms, like by setting an option in your profile to only get messages form people with a certain number of post or rep.

but at least all this is up to jacob and all the other admins and there are only two options either they implement it or not.

an further evolved idea of the rep barrier would be a adjustable rep barrier.

for example you want to create a thread and you only want people with 10+ rep to enter it.
So every uploader would be free to choose if he wants a barrier or not.

still there would be the problem with spamming so

you could also come up with the idea to set up a password for a thread.
like an option when you create the thread where you anable password security and insert a password.
then the uploader only hands out the password to people he thinks are trustful via pm.
(well thats like the provide links only via pm but a little bit easier to handle)

this way you could avoid spamming the forum and the responsibilities for the thread would belong to the uploader himself

and besides the first thing just got removed because it was 30 post barrier which can only be overcome by posting, so as result people just spammed like hell.

But this is a rep barrier and spamming won´t do anything to get rep.

not a good idea in my opinion, lets face it even people with less than 15 reps would beg for links and spam your inbox.

also if you have a high amount of uploads like klown, you inbox will be overloaded with pms in no time.

e.g 20 hentai uploads and 10 people who want the links 10 pms should be the easiest case, but what if people ask for the links one by one.
so the worst case would be 200 pms.
even over a large period of time this is still hell lot of pms

and keep in mind that there can be more uploads and more people who ask for it, so the organisation work would take a lot of time.
