Jacob-dono? You sure are polite, sir. Been here since 2008 but hasn't been active since late December of 2010.
My grandma died and my whole family on my mother's side went awry. I did not cry on the funeral nor when we buried her on the burial site on my mother's side but after a couple of years after she died, I had a bad dream about my grandma, then I woke up really sweaty and realized something really horrible and cried really hard. I used to hear her stories, mostly surviving world war II, and she is really nice and very religious. If only she would had been w/ us longer...
I'm restricted on wishing but if I'm permitted on wishing, here's three:
1. I want my mom to live a long happy life. It's not easy to survive breast cancer because it's a treacherous situation that even though you survive the operation, the cancer might have a chance on returning again.
2. World Peace(who wouldn't?)
3. A stable high paying job

Gambler for me because no other mods helped me with my issues w/ the other mods on this site. He's nice and he's got a bear suit for an avatar(err... is that a bear suit by any chance?...).
in Quiapo, Manila, there's a bunch of sex toys that they sell, but I don't know if any of them are authentic.

DO not leave yet. You seem to be very nice. Hows about you apply for a mod, then you can make a difference in this place(if its possible for you to apply to be a mod).I don't think one applies for being moderator. Besides, the fact that I threw a tantrum like that back in early March pretty much disqualifies me for that, and if not I would think it should. I clearly demonstrated that even if the staff thought I would be a good choice for a moderator that I clearly don't have the maturity for it.
What?! They don't do amnesties for people who are disqualified just once?! They should reconsider and perhaps the tantrum you just showed perhaps was just because of frustration(some people just cant be calm all the time, I've been there).

thanks for the info dood! Now let's just hope T.O.A. will be hit U.S. shores like 2nd-3rd quarter of this year.Oh yeah, I forgot most video games takes like 9 months before it hits u.s. shores. ahahaha... I guess I was sleepy when I wrote the 1st-2nd quarter thingy. Okay, maybe 4th quarter?
Recent example of Vesperia aside, it isn't uncommon for a Tales game to take over a year before it is localized in the United States.
Aside from that, Namco Bandai isn't in great financial shape. The fact that they announced Tales of Graces for localization comes as a surprise considering not only a month or so before Namco Bandai was quoted stating that people could expect no more Tales games to get localized.
JRPGs are getting more and more expensive to develop and the revenue isn't increasing, and in most cases is actually decreasing. It is very possible that the JRPG genre will cease to exist outside of Japan, and possibly disappear altogether unless big name developers like Namco Bandai, Square Enix, and tri-ACE take a risk and try new things. Unfortunately people have already demonstrated they don't like change. tri-ACE took a leap of faith with End of Eternity/Resonance of Fate and it got a rather lukewarm response.
Speaking of tales of vesperia, they said before that it would be an XBOX 360 exclusive until bandai namco announced that it will be ported to ps3. With this, it really crushed most of their fans for betraying them with the ps3 port, and most of them felt they were like beta testers or guinea pigs so that the ps3 will be flawless. The same goes for tales of graces that just got a ps3 port, so the wii owners felt like beta testers too(anyways, tales of graces was already a buggy game to begin with). My comrade told me that bandai namco are not traitors, they just do it just that the company should stay afloat and stable. I suppose when they made TOV, it should have also a ps3 release(you know like multi platform releases just like w/ some of the western game developers) so that fans will not feel like they're just beta testers.

Some of the entries are highly inaccurate and there are two mods there on the list that are mean most of the time on their dominant forums. Some of the entries are funny and interesting and what they wrote there about jacob, I did not know lots of people left because of what he did(if that was really true).Yeah, that are quite a few members that have last in the last year or so, and the instability of Fakku and the appointment of certain mods have definitely played varying roles in those absences.
I nearly left myself almost a month ago, but I failed to see the point in the end. Things have gotten that bad yet. I can think of a handful of things that will make me leave and never come back, but I find it highly unlikely that they will occur.
