I could like to clarify some points that may or may not be pointless now but oh well. This thread is full of hurfing and durfing. First as far as having translators we have three that work with the team as of now. ACF, Tamesuu and Vale. ACF started working for fakku over a year ago for free. Tamesuu and Vale joined him after I started a new plan with the translators. The current plan is not a commission but I share whatever excess fileserve makes. They get paid after I factor in server costs. There is no use holding on to excess money that has no use. Why not put that cash to good use? Now to clarify whether or not they do it for money solely I can not say for sure as I am not them but I am positive atleast Tamesuu and ACF do not (completely anyway) as they both have worked for free at some point. Vale probably does it for the extra cash. I think its worth noting Tamesuu does now require payment of some sort from his other groups to my knowledge. Either way it doesn't matter to me as long as work gets done. I personally do work just because I feel like it. If it makes someone happy then why not. It doesn't take that long.
No group or place owns the translator or the any of the staff just as fakku does not own me. I will never claim ownership and if anyone tells you otherwise then they are just spouting bullshit. It is my idea that no one owns anyone. We all do whatever we want without restriction. It's just whatever gets the most views as possible to the largest audience.
The projects were at first chosen by the translator but now we discuss it as a team. Things get done depending on our tastes and we have a wide variety. Speaking of which I am looking for another translator if anyone is reading this but that's another story.
Scan team is dead and will probably stay dead for a while because that is not my specialty.
I get that, you scan and upload because you want to give back to the community, but why here? There's a multitude of sites to upload to and you clearly don't like the staff here, so why stay?
Broader audience. Someone who is truly into their work doesn't give a fuck who runs the site as long as it gets out there to more people. If this isn't the reason then I would really like to hear it.
