Aha, I see. Is her accent easy enough to understand? Anywhere from up north, and your comment will stand. I dunno where she is from, she's been here long enough that her accent has begun to fade, so she sounds somewhat American except she can't pronounce certain words.

If it's high school, I can kind of understand. A lot of high school curricula is set by a board of educators, rather than the individual teacher. So I wouldn't be quick to blame her for the amount of reading. She is most likely just following whatever lesson plans her job requires her to follow.College literature classes are one of the best places for discussions~
It is high school, but with the overall curriculum, she has some freedom to set the course we follow. I just need to survive two months then I'm off to college.

Hmm, had a bit of a brain freeze there. For some reason, I started thinking that Jane Eyre had a couple of books in the set... don't know why I thought that. Hmm, how come the teacher is a witch? I don't mind literature classes - in my secondary school, I did have an awesome teacher, mind you. Well the main problem is that she's British, fucking Brits. (kidding, mostly)
But really, she never actually lets us discuss anything we read, it's just like "read this book that has serious potential for a discussion, take this stupid quiz, and then we'll move on." Plus she wants us to read a ridiculous amount, which isn't that bad for me because I read really fast, but a lot of kids just can't keep up so no one actually reads anymore.

I'm going in 30 page spurts, takes me a little less than half an hour. But the damn thing is like 400 pages. Grahhhh. What book are you reading, by the way? I'm guessing you're reading it for the fun of it, instead of being required to do it for some reason or another?
Jane Eyre is the book, silly. And it's required for my A.P. English Literature class, which should be the best class ever but the teacher is a witch T_T

I imagine that Jane Eyre can only be read for only so long. Same here, Looky. I've been out all day myself.

Been there done that. I tried killing myself (twice) in late 2009. At the time I had myself convinced that it was the only option. Spent 22 days in a psych ward, diagnosed with bipolar disorder and severe recurrent depression got medications for it and started seeing a psychologist regularly. It may seem weird to think this now, but there are people who would be destroyed if you killed yourself (friends, family, parents, etc.).

Yea, I'm taking a break from reading. Jane Eyre is interesting but rather dry.

Jacky is heading to Africa to tell them how to run their country, lol~Problem solved, just put Pump in charge.
So past few pages summed up: Governments suck, Nicaragua lacks resources that people want so it won't get government help, and Invisible Children is not a good organization.

but the American government took how many years to find Osama?
well, this one doesnt really affect the USA, so...
It will, if Invisible Children has their way. They've been pushing for militarization of the region by American forces, essentially turning Uganda (and the surrounding countries) into another Afghanistan.
Frankly it's a dandy cause, saving helpless kids and all that, but if I see another person act like a saint because they clicked "share" on some stupid video made by a terrible organization and did nothing else I might just kill someone.

Haven't posted here in a while.Went to Verona for the weekend with a friend of mine. The city of Romeo and Juliet.
Went to the castle of Juliet and had a statue of her there.
It was said that it brings you good luck in love if you touch her right breast.
So... I did. :D
Spoiler:
Now if I could only find a girlfriend...
I match your grope picture and raise you one super awkward facial expression.
Spoiler:
From the few pictures I've seen, aren't ALL your facial expressions awkward?
. . . . Yes.
Yay! If Mouse buys Sam I can own him indirectly! (too poor to buy him directly T_T)
