For me, the most important thing about a futa, is that there's a pussy. Thing is, the scrotum in a male is in the same place as the vulva, and it just doesn't look right to me when there's both. So:

That really isn't true. The main thing that males of all species have a biological inclination towards when choosing a mate is fertility, with health being rather important as well. Not size, submissiveness, or anything like that.

Thing is, there's a lot of variety in genetic sexual preference. After all, as long as you pop some babies out with someone, things are going pretty well, so it's not like the selection pressure towards a certain fetish is huge or something. And then there're the most important factors: individual nature and cultural trends.

OT: I do remember reading an article (albeit pop science) that asserted that human males were inclined to find attractive the scent of females who were genetic carriers of certain immunities that the male himself did not carry. I could think of many historical places that would be both pleasant and interesting, but I'd my favorite would probably be Constantinople c. 800-1000 CE. I actually think the 11th and 12th centuries would be nice too, but that falls outside of the time range.

The cutoff date is a real shame. I'm a huge fan of the medieval era (c. 500-1500 CE) in a global aspect, and many of my favorite choices would have been shortly after 1000.
