Strunk and White, bro. When using periods to imply a sort of fade-off you place a space between them.
[align=justify][font=verdana][color=green]MLA. When using ellipses, spaces should only be used when replacing information in a quote in square brackets ( [ . . . ] ).
"The Chicago Manual of Style recommends that an ellipsis be formed by typing three periods, each with a space on both sides."
The three unspaced periods are only used within a quotation, it still gets spaced out at the end, even within MLA.
P.S. Just an afterthought, who cares? English is such a subjective language anyways. We could throw random models of "proper" English writing at each other for days and go no where.

I watched (and loved) seasons 1-6 or 7 (whenever the Imagination Land special was).
After that I stopped watching because it has just gotten so dumb.
I admit they've had some bombs, but some of the newer ones had me laughing my ass off too. The one about the toilet, lmaoooooo.
I really don't have the attention span to watch shows that go past a couple hundred episodes. Same reason I don't watch Naruto/One Piece/ Bleach.
