A.E.O.N - Sybreed




Originally, they were in the vein of bands like Fear Factory (Who they have said is a big inspiration.) But now they have their own little niche, and really this album is one of the best I've heard from any band. (The Pulse of Awakening.)

Borderlands

All in all, a solid 8.5/10

The quirky characters personalities are fun, the random weapon generator is great, leveling is like my calling in video games (As I'm a giant MMO whore)

Only a few downsides, story is kinda thin, and it's not too long. Maybe 20 hours if you go for total completion, however with the four different classes there is good replay value, and there is a mode for playthrough two, which is the exact same game, just harder, with higher level enemies.

I only have one of the DLC thus far, but I like the game enough to spend the money to buy them all.

Honestly, I had no idea what Koi meant when I made this username.

Someone got lazy and turned it into an acronym that just so happened to be a two meaning word, and a type of fish.

Just my luck eh? Though I can't say I mind.

Then we have people like Shia (Where ever she ran off to) who enjoys sticking the two together and calling me LoveFish.

Sworn to a Great Divide - Soilwork


This here is a band that deserves far more credit then they get.

I got the religious talk only once.

Mainly cause my dad is all into that, and I haven't lived with him for about 17 years (Not by choice really, but that's fine)

I was visiting him last year, and basically got the talk about all that jazz, my half sister would not get off my case about that. (I am agnostic, borderline atheist, still on the fence)

Anyway, as for the ones I live with (still not out on my own, the bum I am)

Really let me do what I want. I've grown up able to do pretty much what I want within reason. And I turned out fine...I think.




Oh, and they love to tease me about the hentai thing, they still don't quite get it...


But they never bring it up anymore. What's my business is my business and all that.

I'm sure a few of you remember Y2K right?

(And upon further inspection, I see that point was brought up already. Still, it makes sense, right?)

They said some serious shit was gonna hit the fan then too. Planes falling out of the sky, nukes launching themselves (Only heard that one once or twice...)

This is the same thing, get over it. Just some rumor that got too large for it's own good. It's a small piece of mass hysteria.

I have studied one time in my life and it wasn't even for a test for school, I wanted a good score on the ASVAB. And even then it was like a one day read over some general knowledge thing. I coulda done better.

Anyway, in school I was a total bum, never did any homework and barely passed, but I had like a 93% Average on all the tests, so hey, whatever.

For some reason my school tracked the average homework grade per class as well as the average test score per class. Not sure if other schools did that.

9/10 Always loved the Deftones, great band.

This band right here is one of the pioneers of The Gothenburg style of metal (What evolved into Melodic Death Metal)

There is growling and the like, feel free to ignore it if this kind of metal bothers you, some people can't stand it.

And just my luck, the youtube video doesn't wanna work for me. Swell.

That's just one game, I have a few others right up there in the same amount of time spent. Warhammer Online, EVE Online, etc.

But really, I just have nothing else to talk about...

90% of the time Cancer is just improper (Or lack of) Apoptosis by cells, that create tumors, etc. Have fun curing that.

And also, I really have no room to talk, I dumped 3600~ hours in to Guild Wars and the expansions, which is like 150 days of playing time.

Imagine what you could have accomplished in that time Kyu.

Coulda cured cancer or something, who knows.
