We're not that advanced to have recordings of lectures like that. Our classes house just about 40 people.

Nah, I sometimes barely understand what I write as footnotes.
Though, I was considering doing something similar for that AutoCAD class I just mentioned in my post before. I actually thought of doing a very skeletal, bare-bones version of the assignment, and sending out that to others, while I fleshed out my own after I finished it all. They get lower marks for not sending in everything needed, and I get away scot-free by still doing my job right.

It's mainly because everything here is so regular, monotonous, and just plain boring and easy that the authorities like to keep it that way. Minimum trouble means more money for them.
2. Lol, that's pretty much the point of this rant. This isn't just this semester too. It's in pretty much any class where it's obvious that I'm excelling above the others. Case in point, last semester's AutoCAD-based (drawing and architecture software) class. More than half the class plainly and bluntly asked me to send them online copies of MY assignment, so they can print them out and then submit them as their own.

I remember a day when we used to wait for class to end, then ask our friends for any notes we missed out on (or at the very least, discreetly copy from the guy beside you so as not to disrupt either his or the teacher's flow). Not so anymore. Now I have numbnuts behind me (WHO I HAVE NEVER TALKED TO EVER IN MY LIFE) who insists on just swiping my notebook from my desk after saying "pls bro pls", as if I'll automatically be OK with it. I have to wait a minute or so after that happens to get my shit back.

I've never tried Old Republic because i've heard mixed opinions on it and from what i've heard i've just become confused. Might be time to say "fuck it" and give it a whirl.. Question : How does it's subscription model work? Ive heard it called 'hybrid' but I dont understand what that means. Is it anything like runescape where you get 0 access to any cool stuff until you pay.

Hybrid basically means you can play for completely free or opt for a subscription. Microtransactions with real money are available too. Unfortunately, the only thing F2P players of TOR get full access to is the story itself. Everything else is pretty limited unless you pay.
