This got boring fast in the beta and driving the cars was fuck all day. I could spend hours on customization, but that'd probably be all I'd do if I every bought the game.I'd also probably pick this up if they dropped the subscription.
Plus lack of content judging from beta.
The subscription is optional, you can pay it also in in game currency (from what I've heard, doesn't cost much). They also plan to add free-DLC sort of things to the city to add more life as the game ages.
Eh, I thought there was an hourly or subscription based fee to use the action districts.

I disagree. It brings movies back that the younger generation would of missed. What, so every time there is a new generation, we have to re-make every movie that was good? Can't kids just watch older movies on DVD, or simply enjoy new movies that aren't just copies of stuff we already have? The movies they missed aren't gone, after all.
They might not even know these movies exist in the first place. Heck, Karate Kid came out 26 years ago. Rocky, 34 years ago.
When you were 14 (Or whatever the target age is), could you name movies that were released 26 or 34 years ago, that you weren't introduced to by school? I know I couldn't.
Of course, I knew quite a few old movies, my parents introduced me. Who else would? That well-bred hobo on the street corner with a penchant for the cinema? There are many ways to find out about old movies, and people like parents, teachers, even friends who found them before you, can show the way. Entirely remaking everything is a very extreme solution to a simple problem.
Alright, I concede on these points (rage mode lock/delete topic MOD ABUSE), but your parents, teacher, and friends couldn't of seen or remembered all the movies made before you were born.
Besides without remakes we wouldn't of gotten these fine films. (The Man Who Knew Too Much, Cape Fear, The Magnificent Seven, The Departed, A Fistful of Dollars, Father of the Bride, and Ocean's 11)
Or even the current Batman/Spider-man movies.
And then, every once in awhile you get a little gem like Scarface.

Well said. An example of a great movie that I'm so glad I stumbled on: Clockwork orange. I cannot imagine that epic movie being remade today with different actors/director.Vinyl.
(and then I realize this topic is about sequels and not remakes....)

It's cheating if you don't tell your girlfriend about it. Go tell her and deal with it.

Seems like Yankee-kun to Megane-chan just ended. It was quite funny even though it wasn't following the manga anymore at one point.I'm currently looking for a site that hosts the Kurosagi episodes in english or somewhere were I could at least download them.
Anyone have a few pointers?
