I think adding new forums is always a good idea, but what matters if everyone else thinks it's a good idea and is willing to post in it.

I agree that the Elite status is too easy to get now. The solution is simple, either just raise the post count or raise the post count and require a certain amount of reputation.
But we do need, and are appointing, moderators.
But that's alright. It might force people to think about posting. And prevent so much spam in Random. Which is pretty much /b/.
Random is a great forum, there is barely any spam in it (however there is some, that's why it's random). For example looking at it right now I am ok with all of the topics I see on the front page. And for someone who denounces 4chan so much and how it influences things, you sure do compare things to it quite a bit.

I loved and Starcraft and still play it with my friends every now and then. Looking forward to Starcraft 2, although that Mothership looks a little overpowered..
Hmmm it must be a problem when the title of the thread goes onto a second line, are you only seeing it in threads where that is the case?
