Med kits are used to heal HP. To turn zombies back into humans, you need to have a skill and a revivication syringe.

It sounds like a telepath would easily be able to stop that power from Index. So, Jean Grey, Emma Frost, Prof X, Racheal Summers, ect ect.

Or even Scarecrow from DC comics, using his fear toxins.
