I believe there have been a small number of users who could have given me a run for my money over the years but they didn't stay very long. For the most part though unless I do something to find them when they show up I'm going to miss them entirely. It's like I'm fishing for talent.



I don't think so, any time someone has come along and shown any level of skill I've still acted in my normal confrontational manor. I'm here, they show up, we argue, it takes a while, a few posts/threads later they leave in frustration. You've been here long enough to know this is my norm, and it most likely won't change.

I was referring to anyone with an ounce of ability to debate/argue, implying you have none. The "better men" meant better than you and that's almost everyone in IB. Am I a "better man"? Yes, I am better than you and better the vast majority of people. There's no religious requirement, some people are just born with abilities that others don't share, all men are not created equal. So yes, in both ability and power I wield on this site I am your better.

I want to clarify one thing: there's no part of me that thinks I'm the best in the world at any of this, I'm simply the best here on this site during the time I've been here.

What does that have to do with this debate? Mods have power over you, I am one of them. I'm also more intelligent than you so I'm better in that regard as well. There's probably a whole laundry list of other things that makes me better but as I don't know you I can't judge anything other than your sup-par intelligence.

Those who had any chance to touch me have all disappeared over time, and most of them were fairly easy to dispatch despite some ability to debate. It's hard to find someone with similar skill sets and even a small percentage of my tenacity, or stubbornness as others call it.

It's less of a need and more of a desire, and I don't ignore opportunities when I'm given them.

Tegumi was correct, you said I was "ignorant as fuck", not that I acted without looking. It's not the same thing in the least, one implies an insulting characteristic which would always be part of a person while the other is a one time event.



Your perception buddy, my opinion of "unpleasant" is different than yours. I don't post that often anymore but when a thread is created that literally questions my intelligence of course I'm going to respond. As a final note to you, if you don't like what I have to say, beat me at my own game and make me shut up, otherwise you're going to have to deal.

Respect, and please don't be a walking cliche and suggest you don't care about respect. I've seen enough of your threads/posts to know you want to be liked by some people. You're right; IB is a place for you to be as dumb as you want, but why would you ever want to be dumb?

edit: Butterfly, those test always require you to put effort into them. If I can do something and choose not to or choose to do it incorrectly that test cant gauge my motives or mindset.

The IQ test I took was when I was in 6th grade so my parents never gave me a number, just that it was higher than 89% of the population. The reason I brought up IQ was because of the "retard" comment made in the thread title and as some of you know IQ is a direct measurement which determines someone's state as mentally handicapped.

I'm sure there is some basis in fact that shows a relation with overcompensation and some sort of lack of something but being confident in yourself is somewhat different. At least I don't think what Gallow was doing is overcompensating in this case.
