This short video was very impressive back in 1983, and still is today. It's even more impressive when you realize the video was so old, that it doesn't use any fancy CGI effects, and was all hand-drawn. (It was one of the first works Studio GAINAX made before they were even called GAINAX)
Fast-forward to 2:45 for the action-ish parts.

Just because you pay for something doesn't mean it will work. Like I said, there's a lot of those "computer fixers" and "register cleaners" and "super security firewalls" and other crap that cost $$ but are mostly useless. Just because they may like to display messages and progress bars and other alerts to make it seem like they are "working," they likely won't be of much help when you really do have a problem. And running multiple antivirus and security programs is stupid. Each of them will end up scanning over the same files multiple times, causing an overall drive slowdown, and possible compatibility issues.
The main thing you need to do is not download and/or open sketchy programs, or visit sketchy sites. This includes anime streaming sites, which take fansubs and upload them to random video hosts, and sometimes pass drive-by malware downloads when you visit them.

Everyone knows running programs with tons of bloated features means your a 1337 h4xor.
That's why I run Norton Antivirus and McAfee Internet Security and SuperAntiVirus2011 at the same time.

Sorry if this sounds kind of mean, but most all-in-one "fix it" programs or "registry cleaners" or other similar software are generally useless. I'd suggest you don't use them. Really.
I'd suggest you use something like Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus, and don't bother with multiple firewalls. Let Windows take care of itself.
