We don't have a set per-month rate, but since the current goal is three weeks between releases, it works out to two books ever other month on average. For instance, Kisaragi Gunma's book is scheduled for mid-April, the two after that in early and late May, next in mid-June, and so on.

Seven chapters and around 10 bonus pages spread out between the chapters (210+ total pages). They're all part of the same story.


We always match the original release, but if Tokuharu had it, it's likely this one also has a matte jacket. I can ask someone with the book to confirm on Monday.

Anime Expo might still be a few months away, but we're already busy planning for the event. Just like last year, we want to announce a number of titles during our panels, so we'll probably hold off on announcing new books for the next two month's update. Of course, this won't have an impact on the release schedule leading up to the event, and we'll make up for it by having a big reveal with multiple titles during AX in early July!

This month you can pick up the latest book by Kisaragi Gunma, which we'll be releasing as It's a Straight Line Once You Fall in Love!

The focus of this entire book is on a club that practices Seikodo, the way of sexual intercourse. The protagonist, Kiyosato Asahi, is very hesitant when he's first brought there by his friend, but he quickly changes his mind when he finds out that the girl of his dreams, Hotaka Kanade, is joining the club. The two are eventually paired up together, and the rest of the story follows the fresh Seikodo practitioners on their journey to their first official tournament, the annual Rookie Meet.

Today we're happy to announce that we'll be bringing you Let's Do It [size=10](title subject to change)[/size], the debut title from saitom!

This is a special book because we were contacted by the artist themselves about publishing their work! It's exciting to think that word of our releases are spreading in Japan, and that more artists are acknowledging their overseas fans. Late last year when we were first approached about localizing the book, we knew that it was popular, but we didn't know it would turn out to be one of the best selling titles of 2015, even placing first on some lists!

It has also received praise from people within the industry, such as being endorsed by Gen Urobuchi, creator of the Fate/Zero light novels and series composition/script writer for the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime. The book itself contains guest illustrations by Okama, the author of Hanafuda, and Shigeto Koyama, whose work includes projects like the Gurren Lagann TV series (design works) and the Rebuild of Evangelion movies (design, key animation).

Sadly, no. Unless the artist themselves make an early announcement through social media, these things are revealed in the magazine previews.


Yeah, the cover artist typically doesn't have a chapter in the actual magazine. If they do, they would be listed twice on the magazine page, like Sojihogu in volume #35.

As mentioned here, the best way to get help is to make a ticket. A lot of the staff were on cons this weekend, so it might be until Mon/Tuesday before anyone can get to you (depending on how many tickets have built up during the last few days).

To clarify, the short answer is that practically nothing will change.

Currently the book links to magazine chapters if any of them were previously on the subscription service, but new galleries will be added when it's time to release each chapter, and the book will then link to that chapter. Subscribers will still be able to read the magazine version, and those who bought the book can read the book version. This doesn't affect the release schedule or the amount of releases for magazines or books in any way.

There are a lot of familiar faces the April issue of Kairakuten, starting off with a color short by mogg, the first new chapter from Homunculus in over a year, and Hamao is back once again. We're getting closer to our release of After School Vanilla, but in the meantime, you can read a brand new Key chapter this upcoming month!

The first chapters of this issue will come out early next week.

Looking through the credit pages, I just realized that the following chapter had four new pages added to it for the book version. I already mentioned during its announcement that this title has two prequel chapters that lead up to this, but if you're curious about what happened between the penultimate and final page of this story, keep an eye out for this book release in the not so distant future!

New to our subscription, which in this case also happens to mean new to X-Eros in all cases except for Ryu Shinonome (debuted in #04).

This month's issue of X-Eros brings back a few artists we haven't seen in a while, like Baksheesh AT and Tsukino Jyogi, as well as new stories from fan favorites like Kito Sakeru. You'll also encounter a slew of newcomers, including Mutou Mato making their X-Eros debut with a color chapter about a kemonomimi loli airline!

This stacked issue with well over 20 artists will have its first chapter released by the end of the week.

Yeah, no plans on removing subscription chapters.

There are always some tweaks made when a book is released, but major changes are usually reserved for debut chapters or when there are some really old chapters in the book. Those are both very recent chapters, so I doubt there were any drastic redraws or updates, but there might be small fixes here and there.

I'm pretty sure the Spread tag has been around since we started releasing them a few months ago. I'd image we'd add one for one-pagers too.

We've started sending out pre-orders for Shoujo Material!

Our first issue of Shitsurakuten comes out in a few days, so here are the previews! While some of them have already had guest appearances in Kairakuten and X-Eros, most of the artists here are brand new to the FAKKU catalog, and two artists also made their Shitsurakuten debut in this issue!

We probably won't pick up a new magazine anytime soon, but we're working on something else that will diversity the library.

The only reason other sites are free is because they're based on piracy. We now have a multiple teams working full-time on localizing the content you see on FAKKU, and everyone involved in the process is compensated for their work, from Japanese artists to western editors.

This is no different from any other industry, be it video games, tv shows, or h-manga. If you don't care about any of this and just don't want to pay, you'll have to wait a bit until we start offering free content. If you want to support what we're doing and the industry as a whole, you can do so by supporting FAKKU.
