The video features the movie's ending theme, "Itsumo Kono Basho de" (At The Usual Place) by Ayane (11eyes, Ayakashi) and the opening theme, "Anata no Eranda Kono Toki o" (This Time That You Have Chosen) by Kanako Itou.

The sequel to the 2011 Steins;Gate television anime series opened on April 20 in at least 30 theaters across Japan. It earned 199,445,318 yen (US$2,013,799) as of its second weekend.
