Otakon was an awesome time. On Saturday a group of about 20 of us met up and had dinner, drank beers / coffee, and had a lot of fun goofing around. It was a pleasure meeting everyone who showed up for the dinner, I hope to see you all again at Otakon next year! Still doing a lot of work on the server, you will notice continued errors when browsing the site (this is normal). I am hoping to have it 100% finished by the time I leave for Otakon on Friday morning. OTAKON IS FRIDAY! If you are going, keep an eye out for people in FAKKU shirts. Unfortunately during this maintenance period no one will be able to upload new content to the site, so I am trying to get it finished as soon as possible.
In my off time I have become hopelessly addicted to Sengoku Rance, which is now partially responsible for how long this work is taking. But seriously if you have some free time, play the game. It is incredible.

Here are FAKKU we do things differently.
Everyone should wish Mike a happy 21st birthday today. He has spent countless hours slaving over his computer editing our translations all so that you could spend a few minutes fapping to some of the best hentai possible. I'll be sure to do my part and get him drunk at Otakon this weekend.

Good Day to all!I'm just wondering, why so sudden the torrent files just totally died; School days H scene. Yesterday I was still looking into my computer and seeing that the download is still in progress. I go to bed and rest, when I get back to the PC and check. The download wasn't complete and no more seeders or leecher.
I'm still waiting if anyone will seed it.

I'm not sure the status of seeders/leachers on the torrent. Your best bet is to keep it open for as long as possible. There might be seeders out there somewhere..

The site will be periodically going up and down over the next 24 - 48 hours while I tweak things on the server. In the end the site will be running a lot more efficiently so it's well worth the inconvenience.

One of our users had the idea of running a GARFEST on the forums between the manliest characters in anime, manga, comics, video games, and just about everything else. Seems like a fun idea to pass the time before the next MOTEMOTE.

If some of us haven't checked the site for quite a while, and find that there are many new updated manga, we can download them in a neater and more convenient fashion. I think that will help many out.

On a side note, to prevent users from flooding the server by downloading too many manga at one go, a limit of 10 or 20 in each list could be implemented, and they'll have to wait for the downloads to finish before continuing. Also, I think that (if possible) slowing down the speed by a fraction (say... 75% of the usual bandwidth) for multiple downloads will also help to control server load. This way, people can find it easier to download manga and at the same time, the server load will to be too high.
This is a cool idea, it would just be really hard to implement. So for now you'll have to settle with the old way.
I appreciate suggestions like this where people think outside the box, if you have any more be sure to post them.

This was actually a broken feature for a long time, but jake recently fixed it. He gave only admins permissions as of now, he has stated that it will change soon, though.TMS is correct. I finally fixed this yesterday and it is currently locked to admins. Send me a PM though, after you read this, saying "Hey, give me permission to edit manga". That way tomorrow when I wake up I will read the PM and be reminded.
I am excited. Otakon is only a week away! This is my first time going to this particular convention and from what I have heard it is pretty awesome. How could I not be excited? Mell, who did the awesome Engrish Black Lagoon OP will be performing!

I have heard about this ad and have always meant to block it but never had the chance. What is the actual advertisement for? Does anyone know the url the banner directs to?
This is not the place to complain about your reputation. If a user is deciding to take reputation from you every day, that is their own choice. Had you have sent me a private message I would have checked the logs to make sure no funny business was going on but because you decided to make a topic like this I will turn you into an example for the rest of the community.
The reputation you are losing is justified and completely within the rules of the forums. Instead of making a topic complaining about it you should seek to improve the quality of your posts so it doesn't continue to happen in the future.
