No problem! It sure was challenging; translating literature is harder than normal text in my opinion, but I enjoyed it and learned some new stuff, so thanks! Was not expecting an eroge to be so well written (it's not a VN, right?).

It's possible that word could be onomatopoeic but I really don't know. Hopefully I'll come across it at some point, or maybe someone might let me know. In any case, I hope the translations were to your liking. Looking forward to some more. Got exams starting this week so probably won't reply straight away, but will get back to you ASAP.

Has anyone tried the touhou 15 trial yet? Curious about what people think of the checkpoint system, Reisen and difficulty.

I haven't played with Sanae yet but Reimu and Marisa are unchanged in terms of shot type and bombs from TD/DDC. Reisen is somewhere between Reimu and Marisa on firepower (and speed and hitbox) but lacks homing and infinite penetration. She seems to be trying to go shot spread. Reisen's bomb negates her getting hit up to 3 times and lasts the entirety of a stage. As one can imagine Reisen can troll bosses with this spell.

There's a new game mode called point device mode. Essentially its built in practice as there are checkpoints throughout the stages and if you die you return to the previous checkpoint to continue. Autosave is involved so you can quit the game and resume from your last cleared checkpoint. Aside from point device mode is legacy mode which is exactly what we are used to. No autosave, no checkpoints. I played on normal and easy mode. Easy mode as one would expect is easy. The stage bosses have some creative spellcards this time but nothing bizarre. Normal mode is increased bullet density as usual. Given the nature of this game and the introduction of checkpoints and autosaving, the difficulty is adjusted to compensate. I first gauged it as harder than TD but easier than DDC. After reviewing some TD and UFO replay's I decided to revise my difficulty assessment to putting easy mode as comparable to TD normal (or a little meaner TD normal) and normal mode being like TD hard.

The only thing I haven't mentioned in the graze system this time. Theres a shaded area around your sprite that Im calling the graze zone. When a bullet enters that area it changes color a little a vibrates. This has the effect of slowing and with enough grazed bullets completely stopping the bonus and power items on the screen. With practice you can really boost your scores by exploiting this graze system.
