So... My friend of mine is selling a few Mystical Tutors. Anyone want one?

I like system of functionality rather than design. (*Laugh* Atreyu quote "Lip-gloss and Black")
Anywho, hurt my back today. No bueno. Hurts like hell but I'm taking some meds as of right now to help the pain. Won't be able to lift too much now for about 2 weeks. Sucks too, because my job requires some back-breaking lifting for a lot of things. :\

Gawd, Cube is so much fun, even if I go 0-2, I think the concept of it is just brilliant. On topic, going to a GP this weekend and hopefully I can do well enough to go onto Sunday. Probably going to run UWR, like usual, since it's the deck that I'm most proficient at, and the one that I most enjoy playing.
Hopefully though, I can save enough money to start finishing up my Modern decks (UWR and Dredge) before I can go back to the USA and play some competitive Modern there.
Indeed. Cube drafts are always fun, even (sometimes, especially) if things go very wrong. I remember a funny time where me and three other friends all tried drafting monored first pack, but since obviously we were all cutting red from each other, had to try to recover and make some other deck work somehow. Only one person did successfully.
Good luck! Is it the same list you used last time? Or were there some changes made?
Oooh, Dredge. Seems fun. Was never sure how to properly build a deck like that (except maybe DredgeVine), but I've wanted to try it.
Thanks. I'll be playing the same list as last time, but thinking if I should change up the SB a bit.
As for Dredge, it uses the Blood Ghast, Hederon Crab, and using Blasting Station as the outlet for Bridge. It also uses the norms for Dredge decks like Golgari Thug, Stinkweed Imp, and Narcomoeba. Uses Beck // Call [Beck side] for when you get zombies, to pretty much combo out your opponent.
Pulled up your list here just to remind myself about it.
Spoiler:
Maybe Rest in Peace in the Sideboard over Purify? It messes with Aristocrats, which seems kinda popular. Not entirely sure what the Reverberate is for... it seems like interesting tech, though.
Any thoughts about putting in AEtherling or any planeswalkers? Jace, Architect seems not bad here, and AEtherling can end games more quickly if it's able to resolve.
Still like the list as it stands, though. Already looks solid.
Pretty sweet. I wanna see that kind of Dredge deck in action someday.
I'd rather run Purify the Grave over Rest in Peace because it's on Instant speed, so it'll give an element of surprise over any Rites deck. It also helps yourself because it keeps your graveyard alive for your Snapcasters, Moorland Haunt, and the Harvest Pyre.
I don't really have a problem against the Aristocrats (Act I,II, or III) because of Izzet Straticasters. Keeps their tokens on lock-down as well as giving the opponent constant pressure by pinging your own Reckoners to re-direct damage.
Reverberate is my own spice for control decks over other counterspells because it can still copy any counters during counter wars, copies Sphinx's to give your opponent their own medicine, and pushes through a lot more damage with stuff like Boros Charm or for Turn // Burn.
I was thinking AEtherling over Jace due to the fact that Jace, Memory Adept seems to die easier than AEtherling, but with the new Legendary Rule in effect, I'll try Jace out for a bit more before replacing him.
As it stands right now, the only thing I'm going to change on SB is using one Cyclonic Rift over two, and using two Detention Spheres instead of one. Again, AEtherling with go into effect depending on how the new Legendary Rule will work out with Jace and seeing if he survives a bit longer than before.

Nope. As of right now, I'm 0-2 with it. It was a good concept of a deck, just hurts that I can't get enough damage to go through before I, myself lose. :\

I'll hit the 5000 cap for favorites on Youtube. I think I have way too much time to watch at least that much on the internet.
