I played a game yesterday where I was laning with a Karma who did not know how to play. As a support, she kept taking my last hits, she had CV but only used it twice because we told her to, and would keep jumping into 1v2 fights. I don't think I got that angry with another player in LoL for a while until I played with that Karma...

Katawa Shoujo isn't a VN that will ever make it into my Top 10 or Top 20 list, but the emotional connection to a project that I've been following for so long, as well as the admiration for the developers have left an impact on me.
As you have said, I also dislike the fact that people who have little to no VN experience are out exclaiming that KS is the best VN.
On a completely different note, I'm finally getting back into LB! after a rather long period of neglecting it. Finishing up Kud route then into Refrain.
I have yet to play Muv-Luv Alternative cause I'm still only halfway through Muv-Luv/Extra... it's next on my to-play list. It's just that when I was transferring all my VNs onto an external hard drive, I lost most of my save data, and I lack the motivation to start Muv-Luv from scratch at the moment.

As someone who generally takes top lane now I find Shyv is pretty hard to deal with, W+Q is hard to exchange with. But it's ok, Rumble is even harder to deal with. I almost never take top. I usually mid, ranged AD bot, tank/support bot, or jungle with a tank.
Vlad is a bit annoying in mid to deal with with Kassadin cause of Vlad's sustain... but otherwise, I pretty much take any other AP carry in mid.

Every single scene in the game. You know how if you go into Main Menu>Extras>Library, you see a percentage at the bottom for each of the sub-sections (Act 1, Emi, Hanako, Lilly, Rin, Shizune)? Each of those have to be at 100% to unlock the final CG.

In reality I wasn't all that phased by Megaupload's being shutdown, I use Torrents anyways. Right now I'm keeping my eyes on 'Koikishi Purely ☆ Kiss' as I play 'Ever17'. Just concentrate on Ever17. Play through the entire damn thing before doing anything else. It is honestly one of the greatest VNs I have ever played.
