I just realized that I've never actually made a meet and greet thread, so here it is.

I've been coming to Fakku for almost 2 years now, but I've really only started posting on the forums in the last year or so. I spend most of my time on the anime, VN uploads, and VN discussion boards. I'll occasional browse random and IB as well. If I have nothing better to do I'll go around to other boards and lurk. So some people know me, while most don't.

Evidently, I spend a great deal of time watching anime and playing VNs. Aside from that, I'm just a regular university student, currently studying in Canada. I may be going to Japan for an exchange next year, so I'm pretty hyped.

That's it really.

Here's the explanation.

All Overdrive games bother me. More specifically, it's the ears the bother me. But Edelweiss was pretty good.

Top 10 Series(alphabetically and not currently airing):

ARIA -the single most serene and calming series I have ever seen
Bakemonogatari -Senjougahara. SHAFT.
Code Geass -Gundams + Deathnote + me imagining Nunnaly getting pushed down stairs
Darker Than Black -Asian Electric Batman
Full Metal Panic -Funny, slice of life (kinda) and mecha action
Higurashi no Naku koro ni -Insane laughter
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha -I think she could kick Sakura's ass
Neon Genesis Evangelion -This doesn't need an explanation
Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei -Funny satire, SHAFT.
Seto no Hanayome -Hilarious.

All of the above either have what I consider to be exceptional story lines, or had me laughing uncontrollably for hours on end.

I can go on ad nauseam about good series, but these are just some that stand out a bit above the rest in my opinion.

Tier 5. We have yet to see proof, but...

YMK is only $20 on Play-Asia, but they don't have Hourglass...
So how about YMK and either Kana or Family Project?
The total cost including shipping would come down to $45-49.

I would, but I have limited knowledge in Japanese... I think I'll stick with something either in English or has an English patch.


... Due to an unexpected expenses, my budget has been cut down to $50. I can't get any of those $100+ VNs right now... So F/SN, Cross Channel, and Sharin no Kuni are out of the question...

I can either get 1 of the $35+ ones, or a combo of 2 of the cheaper ones... Cause I have to take shipping costs into account.
Which one(s) do you think I should get?

Lol it's alright. I'm quite a F/SN fanboy myself. I would love to get it, but the price is pretty steep, so I'm trying to weigh my options and see if it's better for me to get a couple of cheaper VNs instead.

I haven't played Deus Machine Demonbane and Koihime Musou.

In my original thread, I had been searching for Ever 17, but unfortunately the cheapest copy that I can find is on Ebay going for $180...

So since my last thread died due to the server issue, I'm making it again.

After giving it some more thought, I've decided to get one of the following:

-Cross Channel (~$110)
-Fate/Stay Night (~$108)
-Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo (~$100)


OR


2-3 of these cheaper ones:

-Deus Machina Demonbane (~$40)
-Koihime Musou (~$48)
-Yume Miru Kusuri (~$35)
-Ai Yori Aoshi (~$9)
-Snow Sakura (~$30)
-Exodus Guilty vol. 1-3 Set (~$15)


*All prices are from J-List except for Koihime Musou


So what do you think? Recommendations? Please keep in mind that I have a budget limit of ~$100.
