The wraparound jacket band on the 18th volume of Dall-Young Lim and Kwang-Hyun Kim's Freezing manga is announcing on Wednesday that the second anime season has been green-lit. More information on the "anticipated" new season will be on the official website.
The anime adapts this manga about Kazuya, a boy who lost his sister in humankind's fight against beings from another dimension. He enrolls in a military academy for combat training against the dimensional beings. There, a group of girls known as "Pandora" prepare to fight the unknown enemy.

Didn't actually get around to finishing the first season for some reason, I'm going to go back and rewatch it at some point before this comes out.

I dropped the manga not too long ago. As much as I love Stella, the story just couldn't get me as excited as before.
I hope the animation is improved in the second season because that's one of the many things that was a disappointment in the first season.

Never watched the anime, but im fairly caught up on the manga... which is good, though incredibly frustrating in the romance department. I believe the first anime season ends after the 10th Nova clash arc, this season will probly cover the Sibling Arc - the E-Pandora arcs. I guess ill have to go watch the first season before this starts, the E-Pandora arcs are my favorite part of the manga.

Yay! A second season for another title with ecchi fanservice!
Unfortunately, its manga counterpart has introduced too many female characters. Not all of them are getting enough screentime. In addition, as what Hentanize has mentioned, I am hoping the animation quality will improve. ^_^;;

Oh Come on. Can I get a fucking break? Why are the animes I want to watch getting a second season? I'm lazy, give me some time to watch them. I guess I shouldn't use that as an excuse.

I read a little of manga and I liked it very much... reminds me of NGE because of blood, drama and stuff. I watched S1 and it were pretty good... Now I thought that I rather buy the anime than watch all seasons in internet, because in my opinion it has potential. I quit reading manga too, because I rather buy all books than read them in internet... same reason that anime too. Awesome show and series. :)
