[Anime] Miyakawa-ke No Kuufuku (Lucky star Spinoff)

Synopsis

A spin-off of Lucky Star. Centers around big sister Hinata Miyakawa and little sister Hikage Miyakawa's impoverished daily life at home (due to Hinata's wasteful habits) and Hikage's life at elementary school.

Being a fan of Lucky Star im really looking forward to this 5 years after the original aired, its about new characters from the Manga but the opening will have Konata and Kagami singing apparently.

Hmm... this is interesting. Lucky Star was a tremendous hit with viewers many years ago. I wonder if Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku will just be as successful.

At the same time, Aya Hirano's career took a nosedive after her much publicised scandal. Will she return to voice Konata?

Awesome. I'm predicting episode 1 will tell us how to eat something.

UPDATE: The cast has been revealed, still glad to see Aya Hirano voicing Konata, it shouldnt be any other way

Looks like they are 7 minute short episodes, and the only way I watched it was somebody that had done a bad subtitle job on a lucky star forum, im disappointed.

Just watched the 2 episodes.

Just watched them again with actual subs this time, its really a shame they ar eso short, but its nice to see Lucky Star on TV again.

Bump, I just caught up to where we are now.

Its nice seeing the shopkeeper animated again, even if its in shitty 240p.

it was pretty nostalgic to see him,Konata and Kagami in one episode too.

if they're gonna release the Blu-ray for this,is it gonna be one that has all the episodes since those were pretty short or they're still gonna put one with each 4-6 episodes?

i hope it's the 1st one.
