[Anime] Mushibugyou
0
[size=14]Based on a manga of the same name by Hiroshi Fukuda, Mushibugyou follows the (painfully shounen) protagonist Tsukishima Jinbee on his quest to become the strongest samurai and defeat the insects that plague Edo. Jinbee travels to Edo to join the Mushibugyou, a magistrate's office that deals with the insects that trouble Edo, in the place of his father who was crippled due to events that involve Jinbee himself. Getting lost on his way to the Mushibugyou he meets (what I can only assume is the story's heroine) Oharu and after some typical battle shounenesque scenes he is accepted into the Mushibugyou.
I ended up finding this series on nyaa so I looked it up and thought I would give it a go. I ended up enjoying it much more than I thought I would (although I think that's mainly to do with how hot Oharu looked tangled in that spiders web) and while even I can admit it's certainly not anime of the season material, I think that I'm going to be following Mushibugyou even if it means I have to sit through a few hours battles with giant insects.[/h]

Arachnophobia went crazy watching this series... Is it ok if I drop out? I don't think I'm missing anything, a Shinsengumi re-imagining in painfully shounen style with high levels of sexual undertones. TT_TT Captain let me quit, I don't think I can make it!
Edit: Not saying it was bad.

6 legs-Insect.
8 legs-Arachnid.
Why is that so hard to understand? That little oversight aside, seems a passable show.
EDIT: Double post, so edited post.

Changes from the manga is surprising since it went from a light-hearten start, to overly serious reason. Anyway, is it safe to call this mushi-king yu-gi-oh style? They got some serious amount of hair-gel going on plus the fight scene is so sparkly
