Awwwright...So, After I've finished watching Rune Soldier and Ghost Stories in one Gulp, I continued to search for more oldies goodies, here's something that i wanna hear about from you guys...
Genres: action, adventure, comedy, drama, romance, science fiction
Plot Summary: In a world of only males, they have created female looking marionettes (androids). A handful of them have been given special 'hearts' called maiden circuits that give them emotion and human personality. Three of these are found by Otaru, and they soon are caught up in a war against Lord Faust and his 3 'human' marionettes.
It also got an OVA and 2nd Season (Saber Marionette J to X)..
SO, What do u guys think about it??..Anyone watched it b4??

Yeah, I've watched it before. It's not bad for an old anime that provides a harem story.
I've already watched almost every sequel there is
-Saber marionette J
-Saber Marionette J again
-Saber Marionette J to X
I haven't watch Saber Marionette R yet.
The story suddenly changes to a sad touching story in every near end story of each anime. The most touching is in J to X where Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry.....watch it yourself.

I loved this series... and I completely forgot that this series made me cry every time I watched the endings. Unfortunately, my 500GB hard drive went fucking FUBAR and I lost my two SMJ series. I totally recommend this.

Neh,Original Bad guy turned good after the girl from space went down.
Oh the R shows em Marrionetes in their Chibi thou different story.Also R seems to have no Connection with the other series.hhmmm i think R is OVA or something.

R is like another alternative, it happens in Romana (Italy) While the three main Marionettes have the same name, they're 100% different. And it's timeline is around 500 years after landing on Terra 2.

Sabre Marionette J was one of the first anime series I ever watched fansubbed (My college roomie at the time, who luckily shared my tastes in anime, had a friggin crate of fansubbed anime eps on VHS). I watched it over again last year, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it held up better than I was expecting on the Nostalgia vs Actual Quality chart.
My favourite from the series was Teagle(the redhead from Fausts's Marionettes).

This , along with Battle Athletes, was one of the first subbed animes I watched.
Great series...one of my favourites and I recommend it to a lot of people. :D
My favs are: Lime, Bloodberry and Lux (spelling???) Oh, and the two Palace guards are pretty good too.

this really makes me feel old, even though i'm only in my early twenties..
what can i say about the series...let me think back...if i remember correctly, it has a total of 57 episodes along its transition from J,Again, and J to X...
it's awesome in its own rights(or should i say era)..either way.. better figure it out yourself, hope you enjoy it..
