Shikabane Hime

1. The OP/ED are done by the Jpop group angela, lower-case a. That along made it worth watching because her music and her piano is just awesome. The OP/ED animation are one of the best of this season, the fluidity is just great.

2. There seems to be three factions, the one that's actively hunting and fighting shikabane, a group of mercenaries that works at a cafe that Oori works at, and some evil group led by this yukata-wearing bishonen dude that's creating shikabane and directing them to do whatever nefarious scheme he can think of.

3. It's like zombie killing, so this makes the anime a win in my book, except on a different scale where dead fight dead, and the shikabane are supernaturally strong and the S-hime (shikabane hime for short) are hot-ass women. The fact that Makina gets her ass owned every time she encounters a shikabane makes it worthwhile, as a damsel-in-distress it turns me on, but it's getting tiresome to watch her get assistance EVERY single time. And she packs SMGs. Wtf?

4. I'm seeing a love triangle, or not. I keep wanting to put Oori and Makina together, but his older brother always there, and he's the one who performed the contract. More thoughts on this further below. Another thing to note: in the OP, there's a lovely piece of eye candy of a nude Makina with wrists and ankles tied by some sort of paper rope spell. Mmmm.

Some things to speculate: Who/what the fuck is the cat? Makes me think he's part of the evil group since the OP shows a quick scene of the evil group, one of them has cat ears... Another speculation based on the OP is that I think Oori's older brother is going to hit the bucket sooner or later. After all, there's only 13 episodes. The scene with Makina, Oori, and his brother's staff in the OP lends itself to the assumption that something will happen to his older brother, and perhaps Oori will take on the contract with Makina.

found out that Makina isn't the only Shikabane Hime, after that the story goes telling about the connection between a Shikabane Hime and their Contracted Priest.

Ooris older brother getting killed sounds reasonable to me. Remember it`s an Gainax Production so at least one Maincharacter will die and i would love to see Makina and Oori come together.
I don`t think the Cat is evil, looks more like an spiritual guide to me. At least in Ep. 5 she doesn`t looked like she was on good therms with the Traitor Priest.
